It’s Not TV. It’s A Cable Channel That I Cancelled My Subscription And Have No Intentions Of Ever Renewing

May 29th, 2008 at 10:49 pm by Brian

HBO lost me somewhere between “Johnny Cakes” and The Sopranos writers shooting me in the face for the final episode after all the years I raised money for the family.  I couldn’t even have an open casket funeral:

“Recount” was seen by 1 million HBO subscribers, which is on par with the network’s last film, February’s lesser-known Susan Sarandon telepic “Bernard and Doris.”

Of course it could have been around Rosie’s ghey adventure on “HBO Family” 24/7.  Or Bill Maher’s constant Richard Belzer, D.L. Hughley, Jason Alexander 60 Minutes Hate.  Or Spike Lee’s 4 part series on Hurricane Katrina…

But I digress.  That $12 dollars a month now rents movies I want to see rather than ones trying to flick me off for not being a commie.

I’ve never subscribed to HBO, but loved me some Sopranos. I have the DVD’s. Prolly the best TV evah.

“Inside the NFL” is gone from HBO as well, now. I always tried to catch that during weeks I was traveling.

Other that those two shows, what else? Surely not that crappy ‘western’, or the FLDS precursor.

HBO jumped the shark, it did.

My girlfriend is currently stealing HBO and Showtime, and you think HBO is bad…

Dexter is excellent TV, my highest recommendation, but the rest is just bad leftist pap, it’s intolerable. I’m talking about the worse than the preachiest West Wing bad.

Though The L Word is good for some hot lezbo action if you’ve got Tivo.

How often does Hollywood cast women who are uglier than the real deal in a flick?

Counting Laura Dern in this piece of crap, every time the character is a Republican.

i never watch hollywood commie movies or read news papers and these traitors wonder why they are loosing money.they will soon be gone and forgotten.
