Here’s a nice rewind of buzzwords and soundbites regarding our energy needs over the last 35 years. If your the cynical type, you might think that there is no solution coming in the immediate future either.

If the oil producing nations can bring the price down, no doubt the clamor for “energy independence” will quickly die down and our politicians can return to their all important work in self-enriching real estate development deals.
