Georgia Invaded

Meh, I got nothing.
UPDATE (Preston): Wrong Georgia, Cranky.
In 2001, when President Junior looked into Putin’s “soul”, I have to wonder if he missed that little piece that has the capacity to carry on the time-honored Soviet traditions of blatantly targeting civilians in his quest for power, control and economic gain.

Nice soul you got there, Poot
Russia’s still the same old CCCP, don’t forget that. They also don’t give a shit what anyone has to say about who they slaughter and how they go about it. The silence from the International ANSWER-types tells you all you need to know about the anti-war left. They don’t want anything to do with the countries that actually target civilians.

Now Jimmeh is leading the Russian army to take Atlanta, correct?
Kidding aside, this is an invasion by the Soviets to make Georgia a stepping stone to the Ukraine. They are not going to stop with the pretext of saving their “peacekeepers in South Ossetia. Russian Peacekeepers as an oxymoron is right up there with Jumbo Shrimp.
NATO should be given the option of firing on the Soviets.
In this scenario, NATO is the safehouse and Georgia is a man who is being attacked and is running towards your front porch for shelter. The Soviets must kill the man before he reaches the doorbell and NATO is going to let Georgia die on its front porch.

Merely another example of how to let things fall totally apart while worrying about being politically correct. We put our foot on Russia’s neck once and it’s time to do so again. No matter what your political stripes might be, this will be a very dangerous world if we don’t quit fucking around. Like it or not, we are the worlds police force and we need to enforce it, lest we let Vlad & his pals rule the world, or worse yet Ammadinnerjacket….This is no time for diplomacy, this is a time for the biggest kid on the block to make some fucking noise.

What planet have you people been living on? Europe and NATO will be scrambling for Peace in our Time as independent states fall without any support from the West.
We can count on our enlightened European betters to talk and negotiate indefinitely while tens of thousands die.
Then in 50 years, they’ll build monuments and promise “never again”. Just as a bonus, they may condemn the warmongering U.S. for interfering in a war of their making.
An Obama presidency will ensure that any actual meaningful intervention will happen after the point where millions of lives could have been saved.

Obama as President (g-d forbid) would have immediately responded to this invasion. (before 4am)
He would have deployed troops on a line from Augusta to Atlanta (along I-20) to protect the other 56 states.

Those are disembodied legs. I won’t sleep tonight.

If nobody will say it I will – Putin should be assassinated and the United States should threaten war.
Every “color revolution” country is seeing that they have no back-up. Not that they ever did with Europe.
They are going to blame us for everything anyway. Democracy in Russia has failed and it’s better to kill them all now than 10 years down the road when they’re stronger and can kill more of us. This snake isn’t getting any smaller.

Anyone heard a peep from Amnesty International or Moonbats Inc.?
Anyone remember when fighting and crushing tyranny and totalitarianism was cool?

Amnesty International has issued a press release with background etc.

Thank God! I thought it was those damn Tennesseans, trying to keep us from our water.

Damn Ruskies! Didn’t anyone see “Wolverines”????
Russia is and always will be a piece of work. So is Putin for that matter. His Messiah rode in to “Bethlarus” on the back of a politburo, no doubt.
Punnin’ on Putin on a Tuesday afternoon. Life is good here in the People’s Republic of Texas. Gotta go. Time to make a Minsk Meat Pie.
Nyet.

That reminds me. Has anyone taken a look at the Politburo Diktat recently?
I used to think it’s name was supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, now it’s tongue-in-Putin’s-ass.

Hell, Der Kommissar has been sucking ass for several years now. It’s been unvisitable for quite some time. Shame too, he used at least entertain.

Well, I was shocked and appalled. The scrolling Obama widget at the top dovetails nicely from the old Soviet marching towards a brighter tomorrow.
