How do you find out who someone is without the help of the site operator?  Some of it’s hard, ass-sitting work.  Some of it’s skill.  Some of it’s just dumb luck.

Other times, unsubstantiated rumormongering will do.

For instance, say you wanted to found out who “arcXIX” is.  Google’s your first bet and if you’d started looking four days ago, this task would have been infinitely easier.  Long story, short – your interest in Mother Russia has given you away my dear Kossack.

Let’s assume that “ARC” part stands for something.  Like this.  Your bragging friend (or you) in the comment thread at Flickr gives us the “1255″ idea.  Also listed as a “Kossack for Obama”.  They both seem to run in the same circles.

From there we’re mere hopey changiness away from here.

Am I getting warm, hot, cold? Is this not the Goldilocks of blogging exercises.

If I’m wrong, I’ll amend.   100% wrong?  10% wrong?  Sarah Palin detached a facehugger from her daughter and claimed Sigourney Weaver’s Alien baby as her own-type wrong?

High-ranking official, I’m not so sure.

UPDATED:  Looks like some of the Red Staters are barking up the right tree. (h/t forestal) Charlie, how can we ever trust having  fair elections with you sitting on the Election Board.  How I ask?

There are three Charles Hartleys listed as registered in Columbus and two of them proudly wear their Democrat flag.  Whaddaya say on those 50/50 odds, Chuck?
