Shades of Townhouse Affair, Jawas Light Up Obama Campaign Manager in Crawl-by Shooting
September 22nd, 2008 at 1:26 am by Brian
My little Townhouse Crackers will hold their fire until ordered, Sir.
A monumental piece of work from Rusty & Co. detailing how Mr. Clean’s campaign manager has been doing more than his fair share of dirt in orchestrating an acrid campaign behind the facade of the New “Grassroots” Media.
Extensive research was conducted by the Jawa Report to determine the source of smears directed toward Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Those smears included false allegations that she belonged to a secessionist political party and that she has radical anti-American views.
Our research suggests that a subdivision of one of the largest public relations firms in the world most likely started and promulgated rumors about Sarah Palin that were known to be false. These rumors were spread in a surreptitious manner to avoid exposure.
It is also likely that the PR firm was paid by outside sources to run the smear campaign.
It’s too long to quote at length but needless to say you would have to spin like a gyroscope to pretend that the Obama campaign was unaware and not orchestrating the smear campaign in violation of campaign finance laws.
It looks like the Townhouse List of smear merchants. Creating a united front to get paid while putting out a message was the point of that, right? Was any campaign money used to grease these blogs in the Pay-for-Play world of the New Media Infotardment? Somebody should be looking into that. Even down to the ads in the sidebars.
Chicago style - good for deep dish pizza. Bad for politics.
Cheers for everybody else who worked with them on this campaign: Jane, Dan, Ace, and Patterico.
Jeers for every leftwing blogger who does not realize that any credibility you thought you had just got pissed away by a bloggertory cabal of shills who make Alan Freed look like the portrait of integrity.

Clearly you wingnuts are taking your eye off the ball.
There is NO scandal here. Nothing to see. Move On…as we like to say.
The REAL scandal is Sarah Palin. Everything about her just screams impropriety. As a concerned Christian, I don’t think I can trust someone who would fire an appointee simply because he wouldn’t fire a state trooper who threatened to kill her parents.
Do we need a loose cannon like that just a heartbeat away from the Presidency? Just askin’ a question here.
Meanwhile, you Rethuglicans only concern yourselves with conjecture. Rusty hasn’t actually PROVEN anything you know…if so I am sure the New York Times would be ALL over this story.
Of course the worst part of this is the accusations of sock-puppetry. I think such a practice is abhorent, and the Dems would never stoop so low.

I figure there are two basic reasons the lefties hate Sarah Palin.
Lefty feminists hate her because she’s more of a woman than they are and lefty men hate her because she’s a better man than they are.
For example. If you were stranded in the wilds of western Montana and could choose one person to be stranded with you, Nancy Peloci, Sarah Palin, or Harry Reid. Who would you choose?
Just askin’.

I loves my astroturfing, I tell you. From good ol’ Ace…
People may be confused why in every post I say I’m a concerned Christian.
Astroturfing.
David Axelrod is called the “Master of Astroturfing.” Astroturfing is the dishonest PR technique of inserting PR messages straight from the PR shop out into the public, but in the guise of “concerns” of “real citizens” who are “independent” and have “no relationship” whatsoever to the PR campaign.
It tries to disguise itself as a “grassroots” phenomenon — but it’s artificial and inorganic. Hence, “Astroturf.”
So Brianna, how much is Axelrod paying you?

Uh oh, guess what happens when you read blogs after a hard day at work midway through a second a bourbon on the rocks…
You don’t pick up on irony.
I’m a dumbass. I’m a dumbass. I’m a dumbass.

Bravo, Bravo Brianna G. That comment of yours is going to be tattooed in my brain. Forever. Concerned Christian, my Irish ass. As a Christian I suppose you’ll be in the confessional tommorrow morning for helping spread lies, name calling, and think low of your betters. I’m a moron, and I got the giggles right off the bat. Seriously, that was the best P.O.S. I’ve ever read here. I actually am in awe of your arrogance.

Hutch, I think that was a bit of parody. Risky humor since the lefties are already so far over the top, but I’m pretty sure she’s playing.

Where Lee had the good sense to re-read in the middle of bourbon #2, perhaps Hutch was already on #4 and will re-read today.

Wait, I’m pretty sure we’ve seen Brianna’s act before:

Astroturfing. Sock-puppetry. These terms are confusing to me.

These are not the sockpuppets you are looking for. Move along, move along.
