Taxation Without Representation

October 9th, 2008 at 12:52 pm by Preston Taylor Holmes

That’s what it’s basically come down to. Last week when I was writing and calling my RINO Senators, I knew down deep that it was pointless. They answer to the almighty dollar, not us. It’s hard to muster passion when you know that the only things on the other end are deaf ears.

Longtime friend of the Buffet Michele sums up my feelings so much better than I can.

What kind of government can continue to have any kind of power with a with a 6% approval rating? I have an answer. A government not for the people and by the people, that’s not operating under the will of its people is not a fascist one, it’s a tyrannical one.

It’s not Bush or Cheney or Obama or Pelosi….it’s all of them. The best we can do is vote for the politician who wears a condom when he rapes us.

Quote of the year.

Read the whole thing.

Go ahead and order your freeze dried food, and get a couple of rifles too, because it would sadden me to have to hide my stash from nice folks like you.

Totally unintentional rhyming, but a heartfelt verse nonetheless.

  2. Stew Says:

Vote ‘em out. If they’re incumbent, they should by rights be gone.

  3. Tim Zank Says:

Term limits….the only way to break the cycle.

  4. Tim Zank Says:

Of course, I should add, they’ll find a way to circumvent that too eventually.

  5. Nigel Says:

That One L Michele can just freakin’ write, can’t she?

  6. Brian Says:

Their ballsy bailout is ribbed for your pleasure.

  7. Dillon McNillon Says:

Reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw the other day… “Enough is enough, Re-Elect No One!!!” Well… except for Ron Paul.
