Jim Rogers (author of Adventure Capitalist) on why the market continues to slide, despite the “bailout.” The market is smart enough to realize that the idiots who just fleeced us for $700B are the same jackasses who built this house of cards to begin with. The correction is going to happen whether our clueless politicians throw our money at it or not.
As usual, when government gets involved, they only make it worse for everybody involved. Our Federal Government is populated with a bunch of egomaniacal economic illiterates who are barely qualified to refill your water glass at P.F. Chang’s, much less tinker with an economic system that was doing just fine for generations - until they started turning it into one of their many socialist experiments.
