Twenty Five Reasons to Vote For McCain
October 10th, 2008 at 7:51 am by CrankyDear Blogfriend, DaisyCutter finds the specter of an Obama presidency so ominous that he is dragging his sorry tush out of retirement to post the 25 reasons to vote for McCain.
These short, sharp shots will be posted daily. So check them out and remember that even if McCain wasn’t any of our first choices and that the Republican Congress squandered their moment in the sun for quick cash prizes, the prospect of a Messiah / Socialist is much, much worse.

My friends, if only there was some way to stop John McCain from talking for 26 more days, my friends. My friends, every time I think I could find myself walking into a voting booth, my friends, well, my friends John McCain opens his stupid mouth and says something that makes me ask “why?” my friends.
My friends, a man who will not fight for himself will not fight for you, my friends.
Despite the fact that his opponent is anti-free speech, anti-2nd Amendment, pro-Abortion passed the point of delivery, pro-gay marriage, terrorist appeasing, terrorist associating, America-hating, racebaiting, illegal immigrating, Satan’s cock fellating sonuvabitch – McCain still makes me want to not vote for him.
He can’t bring himself to attack the other guy and he can’t not be himself long enough for me to forget it.
That is the difference!

It might be more effective to show a picture of Louis Farrakhan, Cynthia McKinney, Reverend Wright, having a BBQ in front of the White House while Bill Ayers works the grill. Instead of baseball, Dennis Kucinich can toss out the first soccer ball in the New Front Lawn Tradition, with all of the Palestinian 9 year olds who are still taller than him.

See Brian, you really are a member of our movement, “my friend”. You are part of the Vote Against Obama Coalition. You need not be part of the Vote for McCain Coalition. We are bringing America together. Hey, I formed a blog ring once to defeat him.
In the end, this is much bigger than McCain. So, even if we have drag him across the finish line and put earpieces in his ears during the debates, we must.
Crank, you’re the bomb, even if you, well, you know.

Brian,
One of my fellow blogstresses (rightgirl) played a drinking game during the debates with “my friend” being the code word. Big ass hangover the next day. I told her put.the.tequila.down…but did she listen? No.

Brian, get over yourself, put down the crack pipe and just go vote, okay? It’s as DC puts it. It’s not a vote FOR McCain, it’s a vote AGAINST Obama.
Unless you want to live in an Obama world. Don’t make me give you examples! Is that what you want?
Yeah, I didn’t think so.
Thank you Cranky!

You’ve definitely got the spirit, DC. Because other than hating Obama there is no reason why anyone should walk into a voting booth to support McCain.
He spits in the face of conservatives every chance he gets. Palin’s electoral fetus has not formed to the point that it can survive outside of the womb.
It’s like watching Dole’s campaign all over again. Without all the charisma.
October 10th, 2008 at 2:37 pm
The Dole campaign is a comparison I’ve been making. The Dems like their guy; the Repubs don’t really like their guy but it was his turn.
As far as Daisy Cutter’s first reason…it’s not off to a great start. I realize we’re talking about #25, but if the reasons are that bad, I’d have started at #3. Nothing personal.

Brian … c’mon. I am going to hold fire on McCain b/c the enemy of my enemy is … you know. I have made the same arguments, but the time to make those is past. The alternative is Pres. Obama and a Demo-led congress. There is no logical, conservative reason to do this (other than you like to watch your house burn down whilst dreaming of what joys may spring from it). Only God can ordain such catastrophes and know how we can get out of it.
Unabrewer, nice name, but … I will grant you that though you might not be able to understand the multiple points I was making in Reason #25, you are at least proficient at lame takes. So, I will give your comment due consideration.
Geez, Crank, you need to get these boys around here a sense of humor and some onions, man.

We’re all crying into our pot roast here at the Buffet DC.
But for my part, McWhatever gets my vote because a dem congress + pres will make the Carter years seem golden by comparison.

More Mavericky goodness.

BMac, when you’ve failed in the Senate for so long, why should we expect anything but failure on the campaign trail? I’m glad his crowds are showing our collective displeasure.
With some campaigns, they might see it as a sign to change course. With the Maverick, we’ll see him get his back up and get even more stubborn, resulting, which means FAIL.
October 11th, 2008 at 9:25 am
If I was an Obamatard, I would be running commercials in those battleground states where the Maverick Renegade is running his most negative ads playing his own words back to him.
Barack Obama hangs out with Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, he supports tossing babies that survived abortions into a closet to die, he doesn’t believe you have a right to own a gun, he wants to tell you what temperature to set your thermostat, how much you can eat, he sues people who make comments against him in private, he sends the secret service after people who hang-up on his Obama-Jugend telemarketers, his Harvard education was bankrolled by an Anti-American nutbar, he helped coach a Kenyan dictator on how to put down an insurrection, he tried to turn the Iraqi government against the USA, and is partly responsible for the collapse of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae…”
But “Barack Obama is a decent, family man that I disagree with on many issues and you have nothing to fear from President Obama”.
I’m John McCain and I approve this message, my friends.
October 11th, 2008 at 10:31 am
I know, I know … McCain campaigns against McCain now (“Obama is a decent family man”) to even it out. Why? Because McCain realized McCain is the Republican nominee. I saw some of the full flower of the rally. One lady was saying Obama was an Arab. McCain needed to say something in response to rein people in, but he want too far.
Here’s the point, though, “my friends”. McCain will go too far in campaigns. Obama will go way too far (with his Demo Congress as Gordo points out) in governing.

Daisy Cutter is back?!
Hooray…thought he was “retired”…
October 11th, 2008 at 3:34 pm
And there’s ways to rebuff the nutters without making your opponent sound like a saint.
There are a couple of other local races that I will be voting on. Currently, President isn’t one of them. I need to see something before November. I don’t need someone pandering – I need to seem some fight and some integrity.

Brian,
A vote not cast is a vote for the other side.
