At Least He Didn’t Call Him Toby

October 12th, 2008 at 10:23 pm by Brian

Set racial codeword decipher ring to “off”.

Republican John McCain vowed Sunday to “whip” Democratic rival Barack Obama’s “you-know-what” when the two presidential candidates meet Wednesday in their final televised debate.

He’s not even trying to hide the coded racial attacks any more.  I don’t think George Wallace could have said it better.

Allow me to be the first to denounce John McCain’s unusual attempt to invoke the Fugitive Slave Act.  There is no place for this kind of talk in civilized society, my friends.

I shake my hands in horror at how little progress this country has made.  Senator Obama is a honorable, decent, upstanding man who should not be feared when he is President.  He’s also quite pleasant on the eye and nose if I’m to believe what Joe Biden says.

This is not the John McCain I knew.  I hope Governor Palin denounces John McCain’s comments before John McCain does.  Otherwise, it would look too opportunistic.
