Based on his concession speech, McCain still doesn’t get it. He doesn’t understand that the left will never support a Republican and that a Republican will always lose when they move to the center.
I don’t want to find common ground with the left. I don’t want anyone to reach across the aisle. I don’t want to come together.
I want my GOP!

Thank you TE. That comment has more spirit than anything I’ve heard in the last two years of reading the internet.
For the moment, I’ll refrain from asking Michael Silence and the rest of his Knoxville comrades to eat the peanuts out of my shit.

I’m with ya, B. And excellent point, TinyElvis.
YOUR JOB FOR THE DAY, and this is MANDATORY: Go find your local Republican committee office and SIGN UP AS A VOTING MEMBER. By the end of the day. It only takes a few minutes to fill out the form, and requires a small donation, but THIS is the ONLY WAY we’re going to pull the Republican Party from the brink.
Otherwise, AUGH.
On a positive note, an Obama presidency will be an excellent opportunity for anyone who uses Photoshop. Case in point: http://www.snappedshot.com this morning

BTW, would love some classic Six Meat Buffet help on my efforts to show the body of Kim Jong-Il one last glorious people’s world tour. Where will he go next? The Taj Mahal? Obama’s amazing presidential victory celebration?
The possibilities are ENDLESS. And at least y’all will stay entertained:

Cranky – You are a gentleman and a scholar. I, on the other hand, am discovering a previously untapped well of hatred.
The Republican Party is, as it has been for the last 20 years, the problem. As are certain elitist “rightwing” bloggers who are always the first to condemn their own side so they can appear magnanimous and win fudgie points with the liberals who they wish would *harumph* give them the respect they deserve for being such nice guys, goshdarnit.
If McCain fought liberals as much as he fought Republicans he would have won. But as we saw, he’d fire off a condemnation of state bloggers running Youtube ads but when it came to his opponent he was too busy showering him with praise to make the case that he was the better man. Not to mention that he made Bob Dole look absolutely electrifying by comparison.
