Plans are being made to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama, who will become the nation’s 44th president when he takes the oath of office Jan. 20.
“Yes We Can” planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald’s restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13. The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama’s honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809.
These people are mentally ill. But you already knew that.

Why not?! He did nothing as a State Senator. He’s done nothing as a U.S. Senator. Expect the same as Chairman. We’re a nation that just voted to lower the bar of expectations even further. The man deserves his holiday.

What do you mean he’s done nothing? He’s the first black man ever elected President in this racist country. That is a monumental achievement…which warrants…well…a monument! Barack Obama is already the greatest President ever.
I can just imagine how indignant you knuckle-draggers will be when there is a giant “O” erected right next to the Washington Monument (come to think of it, put the two together and you have a monument to the 2nd greatest President ever…Bill Clinton).
Barack Obama has given millions of Americans HOPE…something that no other President has ever been able to do before. Quick…name me one other President who has ever given us the HOPE that we don’t have to pay our mortgages or fill our tanks with gas?
And Obama has already opened the door for peace talks with Hamas, perhaps forever changing the face of the Middle East.
And you say he’s done “nothing”.

I’m very disappointed in Obama’s performance so far. I mean, I haven’t seen one unicorn yet. I was told there would be unicorns with Obama’s ascendency. Where are my f’ing unicorns???
