You haven’t lost perspective, you’ve just lost your sense of humor. Things are serious, and sometimes that’s not very entertaining. Honest heartfelt assessments of our lunatic political environment are often called “rants” and “diatribes” because the writer simply has strong and justifiable feelings. Sometimes one can’t laugh and brush it off.

Or I could just give you the advice I got last time I got serious and went on a “rant”: “Shut up and show us your tits.”

That’s basically what some guy was saying.

There’s some truth to what you say, some guy. I am totally guilty of losing perspective. But, what the hell.

I haven’t had a since of humor until sometime in 2007, but maybe it will come back sometime in 2009. There’s always HOPE.

I thought this site was supposed to be funny, or at least, you know, be grounded with a little humor.

I fear you’ve lost perspective. Reading this is a bit like listening to Pete Seeger sing. You think, this guy’s supposed to be interesting, but you know, actually he’s not. Rants and diatribes are as boring as they are irrelevent.
