PTH - Not true! They decided that they were being too conservative and that the country is ready for a more liberal Republican Party. Just not *as* liberal as the Democrats. That's where they come in. And lose.

So by their own logic, they need to become more liberal than the Democrats to win.

Here's what I know - Obama campaigned for this pissant seat in New York and it's this close. That star power should have made this a blow out shouldn't it?

Obama is still wildly popular amongst his chosen ones. The highest number of voters on something like this will be the people who most need their lifestyle subsidized, which is NYC (no, it won't make any difference in the House).

Too early for a referendum. Give it time for enough idiocy on Obama's part to be shown to be of his own making. Like when the free-money-high dies and the bill comes due. Too bad it's going to be so many trillions of dollars before it is obvious to the more "challenged" folks out there.

And no, the GOP has not done squat. To be fair, they've been so far out of the stadium it's taking them a while to even remember their mamma's names, much less how to get back and do something useful. Bunch of idiots.

True... there are about 10K absentee ballots from this thing that have to be counted - including military ballots.

Look for Team Obama to execute the usual play here... Lose conservative ballots and tie the thing up in court for two years until they can have another election.
