I really had high hopes early on for Steele, what a let down he has turned out to be. Newtster has a brilliant mind as it pertains to history, but his days as a leader are waaaaay past. He had discipline in the 90′s, now he’s just become an “appeaser” to get along and suck up to the “moderates”….

Dittos here, Preston. There are commercials on one of the local conservative radio stations that have Newt voicing them that are promoting the Tea Parties. Glommed-on he is.

I heard that.

The more and more I hear from Steele, the more he has convinced me that he is just some pol void of principle. Or worse, the principles that he does have belong to our enemies.

Likewise with Gingrich. Go be an advisor somewhere. His time has passed unless the media needs a new David Gergen.
