Now the Department of Homeland Security has put out a “report” that claims that those of us who believe in limited government and the U.S. Constitution are a threat to the State. No, we’re just a threat to the Statists.
The “report” (PDF file here) was one of the most embarrassingly shoddy pieces of propaganda I’d ever read out of DHS. I couldn’t believe it was real.

By contrast, the piece of crap report issued on April 7 is a sweeping indictment of conservatives. And the intent is clear. As the two spokespeople I talked with on the phone today made clear: They both pinpointed the recent “economic downturn” and the “general state of the economy” for stoking “rightwing extremism.” One of the spokespeople said he was told that the report has been in the works for a year. My b.s. detector went off the chart, and yours will, too, if you read through the entire report — which asserts with no evidence that an unquantified “resurgence in rightwing extremist recruitment and radicalizations activity” is due to home foreclosures, job losses, and…the historical presidential election.
In Obama land, there are no coincidences. It is no coincidence that this report echoes Tea Party-bashing left-wing blogs (check this one out comparing the Tea Party movement to the Weather Underground!) and demonizes the very Americans who will be protesting in the thousands on Wednesday for the nationwide Tax Day Tea Party.
I guess since terrorism has been changed to “man made disasters”, Janet needs something to do.
The report refers to us as “hate groups,” “extremists,” and specifically vilifies the military (which the left supports, don’t you know…). If you disagree with our new Socialist Overlords, you’re put into one of DHS’ hate boxes so that you can be demonized and attacked, Saul Alinsky style. President Hussein’s handlers put this report out after only a few days of deliberation. In addition to being an intimidation tool, the report’s focus is clearly to discredit anyone who disagrees with the Rahmbo Crime Family’s plans to bankrupt the country through crippling debt and the systematic destruction of capitalism. The report just happens to coincide with tomorrow’s Tax Day Tea Party protests, which has gotten so big that the mainstream media is going to have to grudgingly report on it.
The context is now complete – the media, which takes their marching orders from Rahmbo and the rest of the White House zombies, will use this report to attack the grass-roots tea party movement as “right-wing radicals”. The flip side of this is that those hard-working paid volunteers from Acorn and similar leftist groups will be infiltrating the protests by pretending to be right-wing nutjobs in order to give the media proof of their assertion that these groups are dangerous and must be reigned in.
So, be ye forewarned, though we know the truth about this movement, the media now has their marching orders, their DHS backing, their infiltrators and scores of other partners in crime to portray us as lunatics. Don’t let them stop you from exercising your right to free speech. Though we may have an administration that wants to shut us up, this is still America, bitches.
“It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single-issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration,” the warning says.
If you are a Federalist, you are a terrorist. If you are a muslim jihadi who wants to blow up a school, you are engaging in a “man-made disaster.” What is it going to take for the great unwashed masses to see how freaking insane these people are?

This is a convenient report of record straight from an old wornout playbook that sadly too many Americans will take at face value as the ‘truth’ because Brian, Katie, and Charlie says so. I remember Uncle Walter telling America the war in Vietnam was lost when we were kicking collectivist ass. Marginalizing conservatives in 2009 is no different than 1995, except now we are not in political power and the lies told in the Bush years are accepted as truth.
It will take an event 100 x 9/11 to sink into most Americans that all is not what it seems and even then, with constant media bleating about the ‘horrible tragedy’ misdirecting focus. Enough of us are pissed so they must present us as nutty to the rest. When the inflation kicks in and people experience 21% APR’s again (I remember 1979), Bush will be blamed much as Hoover still gets blamed for the Depression.

Whoever wrote that report needs to be called out and fired along with their supervisor. It is a document that is a de facto criminalization of conservatism.
It is saying that if you are against abortion, illegal immigration, and Obama that you are rightwing terrorist.
I can’t see where this report would have been published five years ago:
There’s a divergent group of frustrated anarchists who think George Bush is eavesdropping on their daily douchery. They seek to help illegal aliens commit massive voter fraud in an effort create a Communist regime at the US taxpayer’s expense. From trying to provoke legislators into banning your ability to smoke in public, exercise your 2nd Amendment rights, or undermining the War on Terrorism by broadcasting troop movements on the front pages of their “newspapers”, these dangerous extremists will stop at nothing to provide aid and comfort to the enemy.
They plaster all sorts of faggy bumper stickers on the back of the Toyota Priuses.

Saw similar government memos put out while Bush was prez. Many of us immigration controllers were painted as potential domestic terrorists. Some of us have been monitored, hacked, and had our offices broken into and probably bugged. This is not an exaggeration.
