Fire Janet Napolitano Now
April 17th, 2009 at 9:14 am by Preston Taylor HolmesEarlier this week, the DHS released a report that painted you and me (and anyone who values Federalism, the U.S. Constitution, individual liberty and limited Federal powers) as “threats to national security.”
The release of this summary report was timed to discredit this week’s Tax Day Tea Party protests. What I wonder is what details lurk in the classified details of the report. We’re finding out a little more now – and we’re seeing this administration show their true colors by specifically targeting our military veterans as extremists.
The initiative, dubbed Operation Vigilant Eagle, was outlined in February, two months before a memo giving a similar warning was issued on April 7 by the Department of Homeland Security.
Here’s a tip, DHS, rename your program “Operation Treasonous Douchebag.”
The FBI said in the memo that its conclusion about a surge in such activities was based on confidential sources, undercover operations, reporting from other law-enforcement agencies and publicly available information. The memo said the main goal of the multipronged operation was to get a better handle on “the scope of this emerging threat.” The operation also seeks to identify gaps in intelligence efforts surrounding these groups and their leaders.
The aim of the FBI’s effort with the Defense Department, which was rolled into the Vigilant Eagle program, is to “share information regarding Iraqi and Afghanistan war veterans whose involvement in white supremacy and/or militia sovereign citizen extremist groups poses a domestic terrorism threat,” according to the Feb. 23 FBI memo.
None of this is surprising to any of us who have followed the left and tracked their hatred for all things military and all things American. Janet Napolitano, who spent a great deal of time screwing over the people of Arizona, is now doing the bidding of her anti-American bosses and now appears to be a Janet Reno on steroids. Of course, I’m assuming that Janet Reno’s hulking frame was simply due to too many calories and not performance enhancers.
Napolitano pretended to apologize for the report this week, but just wound up demonstrating what an arrogant assclown she is – this is obviously a pre-qualification for employment in the Obamessiah’s administration. Watch her get her ass handed to her on Fox. I will give her some credit for being charming.
Let me help Janet finish her sentence… “We greatly respect our veterans…” which is why we have to treat them as criminals. According to Janet, Timmy McVeigh learned how to create fertilizer truck bombs in basic training. This coming from the same people who quickly shut down any further investigation into the Oklahoma City bombing so that the template would always be “white supremacist, militia members blow up Federal Building” and ignore the islamic connections.
Does it make you feel better that Janet is monitoring your emails and phone calls beyond what is allowed by law? But don’t worry about the snoops, Dianne Feinstein has your back. And besides, having Eric Holder listening in on your conversations couldn’t possibly have a bad outcome? What could possibly go wrong?
Looks like I’m not the only one recommending a new head of DHS, not that anyone really cares what a third-tier blogger has to say about such things.
President Hussein could grab a sliver of credibility by firing Napolitano immediately. There are plenty of head coaching opportunities in the WNBA that she would be more than qualified to handle.

What a fabulous invitation to muslim extremists to attack us! Napolitano and Team Obama believe that the American Legion is a great enough threat to consider including in their monitoring plans.
Obama is the muslim fanatic’s best recruiter. Nothing will inspire terrorists more than a timid and naive opponent.

About dangerous vets? Unrelated story. Back in college, I worked as a security guard. Besides students, guards were typically people who wanted to be police but were deemed a little too unstable.
So on this one post, I’m sitting with a Vietnam vet. He didn’t like me at first and hardly spoke. Once he discovered we were both motorcycle enthusiasts, he warmed up.
I regretted that as he liked to describe torture methods used by the VC. Imagine me there in a polyester rent-a-cop uniform staring in wide-eyed horror as he waxed brutal. Seemed maybe a bit dangerous.
He shared other stories too, but this is a family blog.

Some disjointed thoughts. Make of them what you will.
My Paw in Law is a vet. He waded up to his chest in agent orange. It was his job to stir it. On top of showing off the strange lumps forming under his skin, he likes to tell stories about ways of torturing people. Some things you just can’t unhear.
Militia members are not on offense, they’re on defense. They are waiting for a more apocalyptic time. Like boy scouts preparing for war where there is not yet a front to fight. They form cell groups and stock food and wait for the helicopters.
It’s a clever trick lumping them in with white supremacists with those handy little hyphens. Claiming a group is racist, or grew out of a racist movement, turns it into a monster in the eyes of the public. Planned parenthood grew out of a racist movement too.
I’m not sure how I feel about the report to tell you the truth. I think it’s good to have undercover agents infiltrating violent and radical groups dangerous to the population. We can’t just turn our heads for fear of being politically incorrect.

Please remember these rules:
We will unconditionally talk to Iran, Venezuela, North Korea, Syria and Russia without preconditions. We will protect their right of terrorists caught trying to kill our soldiers on the battlefield. We will release Gitmo detainees in the US and give them a welfare check.
But when it comes to anybody to the right of Urkel Christ then they will eavesdrop on your telephone conversations, use the FBI & CIA to target your widely held political beliefs and sic the Homeland Security Department’s new diesel dyke on you.
This must be some more of that smart diplomacy. You’ve got nervous fringe elements stocking up on MREs and ammo because they fear a communist has taken over the White House who intends on shredding the Constitution, repealing the 2nd Amendment and liquidating the opposition. So what do you do?
Well, naturally, you start trying to ban guns, shred the Constitution and issue reports on how you’re going to start monitoring the half of America that lost the last election of course!

I am a veteran of the US Army 2nd ID Camp Casey Korea (1973-79)who is outraged that a silly government employee can get away with putting forth such an anti American directive. This silly woman Janet Napolitano needs to be fired now and for good measure her entire staff should be out too. This is America no government employee including the President has the right to label American veterans as a threat to our great country this nonsense and the people behind needs to stop now!!!

It is time to get Janet Napolitano out of this very important office. If she cannot recognize who the REAL terrorists are, she has no business in the DHS. My father was a veteran of WW2, I have 2 uncles who were veterans of the Korean War, another uncle and a brother who were veterans of the Vietnam war and a son who served proudly in the marines. I cannot believe that she would have the nerve to put such people on the watch list. I am outraged.

I agree she needs to be out but I also have doubts concerning the entire current administration as well as the congress which is the bigger picture. Its easy to put out directives such as Janet’s most recent if you have no sick in the game. She has never served her country she merely cashes government checks and follows a political agenda which the American people have to pay for. I am seeing nothing but nonsense and danger coming from our current government. In all my years I have never been so worried and cautioned as I am today. Veterans are not the enemy do your job Janet start with all immigrants and our borders…

Napolitano’s use of Oklahoma City in 1995 certainly is an intriguing example of how US military veterans are supposedly some sort of threat to us all.
That bombing was a single event, staged almost 14 years ago- hasn’t Al Qaida staged hundreds of attacks on US interests since then? Why so little mention of them since she was appointed three months ago- isn’t keeping a lid on those medieval savages 80% of her job description? Isn’t that why the Department of Homeland Security created in the first-place?
Apparently there is no bounds to what government assets Obama will prostitute for his own purposes, either… while neglecting daunting, actual threats in the meantime.
So all who wondered why Obama chose this obedient toady to head Homeland Security now have their answer: a serious choice who would have focused upon real terrorist threats -not imaginary, partisan ones- like, say, a Rudolph Giuliani, wouldn’t have been a willing participant is such a sham report.
