Is this the best you’ve got? Ha!
Why don’t you put forward some constructive ideas for dealing with the problems facing this country?
Wuh? I can’t hear you. Cat got your tongue?

Apples and oranges..in 1983 Iran was fully engaged in war with the United States by proxy. Rumsfeld at Reagan’s behest paid a diplomatic call to Saddam. It was the classic ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend.’ The Iran-Iraq war, in full flower since August ’80, was mostly an interior conflict and Rumsfeld wanted to keep it that way. Of course all this is lost on the fucktard left and unbathed Obamomites as the Kenyan kisses the collectivist asses of todays versions of Mao, Stalin, and Hitler. Of course the left couldn’t contain their mass hissyteria in their quest to throw anything against Bush to stick to the wall. Civility towards barbarians always make the bigger man appear small and in global diplomacy appearances equal reality..

That’s the thing. What Rumsfeld engaged in is comparable to what Obama is doing except that Rumsfeld wasn’t the President.
The Left has laughed and laughed at that picture for years as proof of the corruption of our policy while advocating that Obama do the exact same thing.
At that point, everyone didn’t know what all Hussein would end up doing.
You either take a principled stand against evil and isolate regimes or you do like Obama and hang all over them like a cheap coat.
Instead, Obama is lifting sanctions against places like Cuba and hinting that he’d lift sanctions against other countries that the US has tried to isolate like Venezuela or Iran as “the carrot” in his Walk Softly and Carry A Big Carrot Diplomacy.
