I had no idea what an incredible leader and orator she was. If we could have such spirited debates on the floors of Congress, maybe the demand for barkers like Olbermann, Matthews and Hannity would dry up.

Wonderful. I could be wrong, but I believe that reading prepared speeches is frowned upon in Parliament. Our legislators, especially in the Senate, read boring speeches in monotone voices to empty houses. Then they “reserve the right to revise and extend their remarks.” Pathetic.
