Torture? We were never told there would be torture!
Plan B
OK, so I attended a briefing on EIT in 2002, but they only said stuff like “hypothetically” and “wouldn’t it be nice if we could”. I assumed we were just chatting.
And now the latest.
Plan C
“To the contrary … we were told explicitly that waterboarding was not being used,” she told reporters, referring to a formal CIA briefing she received in the fall of 2002.
I would have said something but Bush and the CIA lied! Yes indeed, when no one was looking they came to me and said all sorts of confusing and untrue things to me. What was I to do? I mean who are you gonna believe, me or the CIA with their sneaky black ops and stuff?
