There Goes The Protein

Now it can be said, Protein Wisdom is one of the most intelligent blogs I’ve read. However, something interesting happened over the years; Jeff’s armadillos, “meta” humor and Billy Jack pieces started to get old and I found myself more interested in Collins’ work.
Glad to see Dan out on his own makin’ a name for himself. Read it, bookmark it, live it.

Billy Jack has a tendency to be a temperamental prima donna whose manic depression has flared up like this before. He gets hot for about a week or two and then comes crashing to Earth like a bloggy Icarus.
I think we all root for the underdogs but there’s something ungrateful about spitting in the face of the people who kept your site alive while you rediscover yourself.
However, if you’re a genius you can just spring back to life and everyone loves you again. Isn’t that how this human drama unfolds? Or doesn’t.
