San Francisco is flat out disgusting. Though we aren’t as depraved here in San Diego, I think the atmosphere is actually a little more dangerous.

Here the local news actually portrays the parade as a “family friendly” activity. As someone involved in the local business community I’ve been asked repeatedly to “sponsor” a booth at the parade…and I’ve lost business because I won’t.

And this parade has many corporate sponsors…including banks, restaurant chains, hotels, insurance companies…and one prominent beer distributor who sponsors events like this across the country…the Miller Brewing Company.

If my parent company ever sponsors such an event, I’ll resign on the spot.

San Diego will never even come close to San Francisco. Google the “Up Your Alley Fair” to see one of the spinoffs up north. Adults only, please.

Part of President Obama’s agenda is to get as many of these “community organizing” and “activist” groups (e.g. ACORN and its affiliates) on the federal payroll one way or another.

A very liberal co-worker and I were discussing the issue. He said that every parade sets the cause back about three years.
