They go out and protest against straw men: the rape kit controversy, the accusation that she reduced funds for special needs kids, the false charge that she removed funding for sex education, Troopergate, etc. They're fighting phantoms of their own creation. They don't have the ammunition to argue the real facts, because there's no monster there to fight. I actually think what you said is true Nigel. It's amazing how many years a girl's anger can coast on bile formed in grade school. It’s not about policy; it’s about bringing her down.
