Canvassers come through my neighborhood all the time. Does anyone have any suggestions for ways to make sure they have a very unpleasant experience after they leave my door? I’m thinking like a water pistol full of vinegar waiting by my front door, or some such.
Any ideas? (preferably but not necessarily ideas that won’t lead to lawsuits)

I have a big barky dog. She’s a sweetie, but we usually let her get really loud when salespeople come to the door. We hold her back and they ask if she bites and we say she’s a bit aggressive and apologize. A “Beware of Dog” sign is pretty good too.
Maybe a “Don’t Tread on Me” flag in your window. Most canvassers break out in boils and start hissing.

Greetings:
A chance to use my “professional experience” for 80-100 hours a week and pull down $24K, I’m there!!!!
Does anyone have an idea if this is even legal under the labor laws???
August 9th, 2009 at 3:20 pm
It’s barely legal. According to my calculations based upon the labor laws one must make $23,560 to work 100 hours per week (52 weeks a year.)
Guess they aren’t out campaigning for better wages for the highly educated. But really, Marxists don’t go that way.
