Selfish To The Very End
August 21st, 2009 at 7:38 am by BrianA personal plea from Senator Edward M. Kennedy to grant the governor power to appoint an interim successor in the Senate drew little public support from Massachusetts lawmakers yesterday, with the state’s Democratic leaders publicly silent on the proposal and most Republicans attacking it as a partisan power grab.
When even the ultra-left Democrats in Massachusetts are cool to breaking all the rules one last time for their Lion King who is more like a Shamu than a Simba, it really underscores the selfishness that Kennedy and his clan have imposed on that state for half a century.
Except this time, there won’t be a sequel.

What a self-centered toad. “The Senate can’t get along without me”. He could have thought ahead and stepped down before the last election, then this would be moot. No. Too important. Has to die in office. Won’t retire. Now he is trying to make the argument that the added 1% vote in the Senate that he would provide is essential to progress.
I hope they name a bridge after him. I have one in particular in mind.

The only sad part is that his demise has taken this long.

Doesn’t the world revolve around him? This man is disgusting. WHAT A JOKE.
I am sure that there will be justice SOON for Mary Jo Kopekne. [translated: when he dies]
