Edwards Channels Kennedy, “Pass Universal Healthcare”
August 27th, 2009 at 10:52 pm by CrankyWell, Senator Edwards hasn’t said that, yet. He’s hasn’t mastered his necromancing skills beyond communing with dead babies. But it’s early and the Dems wasted no time trying to get mileage out of Kennedy’s corpse.
Democrats were accused of exploiting the death of Senator Edward Kennedy yesterday after immediately trying to use his name to revive President Obama’s flagging attempt to overhaul the US healthcare system.
Within hours of Mr Kennedy’s death on Wednesday leading Democrats were trying to turn it into a rallying point for healthcare reform — something that he had called the “cause of my life” — and suggested that any legislation should carry his name.

Madam Natasha Pelosivic needs to shave her legs and if anything should be sandwiched between Dodd and the gravitational pull of that thing in the middle.

President George W. Bush, remember, paid tribute to Ronald Reagan at his funeral by tying Reagan’s foreign policy to his own.
It’s ridiculous to pretend that a few conservative shouters have a veto over how Kennedy’s family should conduct his funeral or how Democrats should honor Kennedy.

Mark, you’re not going to score any points here by bringing up shit that the Bushes did. We are no fans of the Bush family and have flogged them publicly for years. And I’m not even going to bother with the content of your comment, due to its inherent weakness. But it’s Friday, so TGIF!

I’ve read some conservative commentary that says Democrats dishonor Kennedy by tying his death to passing this bill.
Actually, this is exactly what Kennedy would have done and would have wanted. I for one welcome this spectacle because it shows our politicians for the vapid opportunists they are. Bring it on.
