There is a reason why littlegreenfootballs2, or blogmocracy.com, was made. Charles told users to go out and “make their own website” if they didn’t like what was on his. They did, and now he’s crying like a bitch. If anyone knows Charles Johnson in real life, I suggest they bring him a case of tampons… He needs them.

Haven’t heard Van Jones play the race card (well, not since he made Czar) yet, but just wait until Montel Williams or Keith Olberdouche interviews him. We’re all RAAAAAACIST for posting Youtube videos of his claiming white people were poisoning Blacks and Mexicans.

BTW, I’d like to see Thelonius Punk weigh in on this, but I think he’s more interested in trying to correct our perceptions of history.

The thing is Van Jones is apologizing for some of the things he’s being called on the carpet for now but in 3-6 months he is going to be right back out on the Black, Red & Green circuit saying the exact same things again. It’s the only thing he knows how to do:

Some people have called Van Jones a younger version of Obama. It’s more like the opposite. Obama is just an older version of Van Jones. He has said many of the exact same things that Jones has. You know, someone who has lived the privileged life but still has a grievance against everyone. When they say it, it’s their code for “a black person who pulled themselves up from nothing and made something of themselves.” Which is not the situation in either Obama’s or Jones’ case.

Johnson’s ardent defense of Jones is not blindness. Finding the nutty things that Jones has said over the years seems to produce new and even more outrageous commentary seemingly every other hour. To ignore all the evidence to the contrary would require the Blind Faith of your typical rabid Christianist. Which we know his scientific mind is by definition incapable of.

It’s obvious that Johnson agrees with many of the things that Jones says.

Just read the AP article. Why is his rhetoric "fiery" like Jeremiah Wright as opposed to flat out "racist" like when Jimmy the Greek said questionably stupid things about why African Americans are good athletes? I know, stupid question on my part.
