And Now For The Bastardization of 9/11

September 11th, 2009 at 12:39 am by Brian

Everybody knows that the Louis Farrakhan of Presidents is planning on disgracing the memory of 9/11 today as evidenced by his Serve.Gov site.

In April, President Obama signed the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act which, for the first time, officially recognizes September 11 as a National Day of Service and Remembrance. This year, on September 11, the President, the Corporation for National and Community Service, MyGoodDeed and the 9/11 families will ask all Americans to remember that Tuesday eight years ago and recommit to service in their communities throughout the year.

That’s right. 9/11 is about joining ACORN to help register prostitutes and the underage sex slaves while defrauding the taxpayer. That is exactly the message I come away with when I think of people jumping out of a burning building after being attacked by the Religion of Peace. Again.

Or is the Teddy Kennedy Act supposed to remind me to take a swimming class while drunk while helping my nephew beat a rape charge or expending family clout to help another one beat a murder wrap for a few decades?

Instead of trying to regain that feeling of that whole five minutes after the attack before the Left unsheathed their knives and stabbed everyone in the back and Code Pink started carrying coffins to mock wounded veterans at Walter Reed.

I remember the hijacking of the Flight 93 museum. I remember artistes trying to dramatize the firefighters raising the flag over the wreckage to make it more politically correct. I remember the commies like Van Jones who said we deserved it and that he and his fellow Truthers are now in the White House after a long summer of letting the terrorists go to an island paradise, launching investigations into our agents who kept us safe and most recently culminated in giving a nod to the release of the Lockerbie bomber back to Libya. Obama knew that a man who murdered almost two hundred Americans was getting released and he was okay with that.

I remember tv without the crawl at the bottom and what it was like to get on an airplane without getting felt up to keep the numbers politically correct. Or without having to take off belts, watches and remove cellphones so many times that I might as well just show up in a shorty robe.

Basically, I remembered not to forget the way it happened and that no President ever had the balls to ask Americans to volunteer to do community service for his pet projects as the way to remember the attack on Pearl Harbor.

For the ADD generation, you now have a President who can’t even bother to mention the troops that he’s surging into harm’s way while he’s slashing their budget.

I’d ask if you have forgotten if I wasn’t so sure that you’d reply “forgot about what?”

    Here’s a better way to remember 9/11: http://project2996.wordpress.com/

As a nation we’ve lost our instinct for self preservation. Part of that is to have a healthy long-seething anger when your people are murdered in cold blood on TV. We didn’t want to remember, so we changed the channels. It is a lot like national ADD.

You want to hear the truth? What surprises me is that after a long years of crimes against innocents orchestrated by men with names like Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, that a man named Barack Hussein Obama would run for president and the country more afraid to be seen as racist and intolerant than to even whisper that we might not be ready for a person with a muslim background to run the country.

  3. Brian Says:

I’ve said it before that I don’t think Barack Hussein Obama is a muslim. He’s an atheist.

It’s a real simple question that anyone who calls themselves a Christian should be able to answer – Is Jesus Christ the one and only lord and you can only go to heaven through him?

If you start hemming and hawing about diversity and “many paths” – you are not a Christian.

Has anyone heard which “church” he’s joined since moving to Washington going on a year now?

Religion and churches are just things that a chameleon like him uses to ingratiate himself with a community to achieve his ultimate goal of power. That’s why he’s more at home in a Jeremiah Wright church or holding that hardly mentioned dinner with a bunch of terrorist-sympathizing Muslims for Ramadan last week at the White House.

The left had a good dose of reality on 9/11/01, but it only took a few weeks for them to start cobbling together a new shiv, with which to stab the country in the back. Now the same hate-America-firsters are running the country. Great job, American Idol generation.

  5. Gabriel Syme Says:

Great post, and comments too. I will be looking for you all when we get rounded up and incarcerated during a not-too-distant-future day of service.

I may even share my bread crusts. Maybe.

I don’t have a problem with an atheist president, as long as he possesses reason, honors the constitution and isn’t anti-Christian. My point really wasn’t about religion, it’s about the Muslim-sounding name. If his name Takami Suzuki during WWII, that alone would have prevented him from holding any kind of office. We had an instinct for self preservation which gave us a defensive prejudice. It wasn’t “fair” but it was understandable in light of what had happened at Pearl Harbor. And I don’t think many were troubled by it then.

For us to put political correctness and diversity over our survival instinct is just national suicide. And don’t say someone’s a socialist or a fascist either. That’s derogatory. It doesn’t matter if it’s true. We’re a country in love with lies.

  7. Yiddish Steel Says:

Ironic that you should point that out, Michelle. I have at times quietly pondered how our Country could approve of and elect a “Barack Hussein Obama” before, say…. “Joeseph Isadore Lieberman” or “Pierre Emil Salinger”.

  8. Guy Average Says:

    Michelle:

    Amen.

    No pun intended.

BTW, I’m here in DC, getting ready to do some walkin’. I’ll shoot some pics. If you want me to send you some, e-mail me; if not , I’ll post them ASAP.
