		<description>This is why Democrats need not worry too much yet about a significant Republican resurgence. For a long time it was the Democrats who kept blowing their feet off, doing stupid things like nominating John Kerry to lose an election that was theirs to win, while the Republicans were able to select the right wedge issues to hold an interestingly incongruent coalition together.  Seems the pendulum has swung the other way for a while.</description>
