December 7, 1941 – A Day That Will Live in Anonymity

Just pointing out how the other Evil Empire is presenting their search page this morning.
Hey Japan, do no evil, ‘kay?

I visited Honolulu for the second time in September and again toured the Arizona Memorial and the battleship USS Missouri. In my group visiting the Arizona was a gentleman who was an enlisted seaman aboard the USS Tennessee, one of the vessels lined up on battleship row on December 7, 1941. He was introduced to our group and received a standing ovation. Everywhere he went in the memorial complex he was saluted by every person in uniform…and deservedly so.

My hats off this this gentleman. Thanks for sharing that.

Come on, Cranky. Do you honestly think that the Jap’s retaliatory strike on Hawaii compares to Michelangelo’s birthday or National Potato Week?

Retaliatory?

My mock Leftard sarcasm must be on the fritz. In related news, today was Popeye’s birthday.
