   Tim, I learned that one from my grandfather. He was awesome. Part of me is glad he’s not here to see what’s happening to this country.

   I haven’t lived there in 24 yrs, the inner city looks worse than after the race riots in ’67.
   I recognized Crowder by the Old Fleetwood plant on Fort St and I-75.
   I’ll never buy a Chrysler or GM product again in my life, I’d rather ride a bike first.

   It’s a sad, sad thing to see this city like it is today. It once was a vibrant, desirable area.

   Last time I was “in” DeRiot (instead of just driving past,rapidly) I was at an Auto Show at Cobo in the mid 1980′s and I recall that going a couple of blocks in any direction was a “dicey” proposition. I can’t imagine what it’s like now.
