I’m fairly sure that Pat is not doing mainstream Christianity any favors. Thank goodness the anti-religious left would never broadbrush Christians with the paint of such commentary.

I am an evangelical Christian who has supported some of Pat Robertson’s ministries.
Having said that, when it comes to world events I wish he would just STFU. Preston is right, Robertson makes life a little tougher for us who tell the world that we have a loving God.

As somebody that knows Christendom pretty well right now, I can tell you that Pat Robertson has lost what fleeting popularity he once had with his constant assault of reason. Started going downhill after 9/11. He had his heyday in the 80s, but it’s time he shut up.

Apparently, Pat needs to consult the Scriptures again. Not ever calamity or catastrophe is the result of some sinful act or Satanic pact.
Yo, Pat…have you ever read the Book of Job? How about all the Christians killed by the Roman Empire. Did they die because they were actually members of some type of Satanic cabal?
I really wish that Pat would find some way to reinstall the sifting screen between his brain and his mouth. Better yet, retire. PLEASE!! We Christians have enough trouble being taken seriously without you spewing this type of drivel.

Then the Pharisee crossed to the other side of the street…
And then I read this.
He does say very stupid things. However, his organization’s work isn’t sexy enough for the media to really note.

Good catch Cranky. Any opportunity the MSM has to vilify Christians, you can count on ‘em.
