In Gibbs’ head I imagine this line: “Oh wook, the pwess is pwaying angwy, and beawing its widdle teef…” The mainstream press needs to realize that this is the kind of respect they get when they’ve played “submissive dog” for so long, but on the other hand, Gibbs’ behavior betrays that this turnaround scares him a bit is astounded to see them (however weakly) move into the role of inquisitor. (I hear a Monty Python reference here.)
They need to find a new “safe word” and agree on it I guess.
On another note, I could see MadTV’s Frank Caliendo doing a great impersonation of him.
