About 10 years ago, I saw KISS in concert … with my (then) teenage son. KISS was teh awesome. And so with sharing the experience with my son.

Been a KISS fan since I heard the first 3 chords of “Cold Gin”….I reached to turn it up, & all the seeds rolled off my (Zappa’s) Overnight Sensation album cover onto my mothers dreadful 1970′s harvest gold “sculptured” shag carpet…

ahhhhh memories….foggy as they were…..

Something else I just remembered in a conversation with a friend last night…I had a few friends in high school who were HUGE KISS fans (I was not, I was in the Foreigner/Journey/Styx crowd at the time). They SWORE that KISS had played at some school’s high school prom, but could not prove it.

Well, turns out they were technically incorrect…but that was one urban legend that was somewhat true….
