IRS To Begin Offering Free Colonoscopies

September 30th, 2012 at 10:09 am by Brian

Never before has inter-governmental agency cooperation been higher thanks to the incontinent leadership of Vice President Poopy Pants:

During his speech, Biden reminded the audience that some of their Republican friends would distort Obama’s record on Medicare.

“Everyone knows, everyone in this room knows that President Obama has increased the benefits available to people on Medicare by the action he took,” Biden said. “You are now able to go get a wellness exam, and guys, if you conclude you need a colonoscopy because you feel like you have a little too much weight in your wallet then the IRS is more than willing roto-root your pooter.    Or let’s say you need a breast health examination by your’s truly or any one of our highly qualified TSA agents, then you don’t have to pay a co-pay for that.  You’re welcome, America.

Personally, I’m looking forward to the synergistic possibilities of mandatory urine donation for drug screening with it being recycled for offensive anti-Christian art projects.

So “the future does not belong to those who slander Islam”, huh?

The evidence is really adding up.

Foolish, Offensive and Sometimes Unintelligible

September 25th, 2012 at 1:50 am by Brian

Who needs to go to the movies when you can watch Jay Carney’s projection on the big screen?  The above was the White House Squealer’s characterization of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s jeremiad to the United Nations in which he denied the Holocaust, called for the elimination of Israel, made a death threat against Salman Rushdie and the director of the anti-Islamic film that Hillary Clinton’s State Department blames for her negligence that resulted in the murder and rape of her Libyan ambassador.

He’s calling for genocide and state sponsored terrorism not chewing with his mouth open or putting his elbows on the table during dinner.  al-Reuters calls it “defiant”.  NBC characterizes him as  “pugnacious”.  I guess plucky, scrappy and irascible were unavailable.

“Foolish, offensive and sometimes unintelligible.”  Now, remind me again who said that they would meet with him with no pre-conditions.  Who is “foolish” in that scenario?

As far as “offensive” goes, I take it no one saw Hillary Clinton giving a speech at her appropriately acronymed “CGI” Clinton Global Initiative soiree this morning.  No one saw the prolonged standing ovation given to Clinton due in no small part to what they perceive to be The Great Success that she has achieved as the Ozymandias of the State Department.  Look on her works, ye mighty cankles and despair.

CGI Event:  Libyan Ambassador Craig Stevens was digitally removed from Hillary Clinton’s conscience

Clinton delivered, in her trademark monotone, the type of soaring rhetoric we have come to expect from such an accomplished and world-renowned diplomat.  Soaring to levels usually reserved for warnings to truck drivers about low interstate overpasses ahead.

WARNING:  Hillary Clinton speech ahead.  Please tune to AM 630 for details.

Void from any of their faces, even the slights signs of distress or concern about the events of the last few days or the bloody riots that threaten our interests abroad even to this day while trolling for donations.  Surely there is something more important to do today while 120 world leaders are in town than to fundraise for your personal foundation.  You would be wrong though.  Because they don’t know the meaning of the word “offensive”.

As far as unintelligible goes, look no further than Susan Rice’s disastrous, five front offensive against the truth in the White House and State Department’s characterization of the Benghazi attack that killed four Americans a week ago.  Despite a few Bumps In The Road ™, Rice was able to point out an area where Hillary Clinton has succeeded:

The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations is really “into Twitter,” she said over the weekend, but she used to be a social media “skeptic.”

“I’ve got to admit, in all honest, when this started a couple of years ago, I was a skeptic. I thought, how can I responsibly speak about or conduct foreign policy in what seemed to me haiku?” Susan Rice told Mashable CEO Pete Cashmore over the weekend.

“I thought it sort of might cheapen the coin,” she said. “But I was so wrong. I have gotten really into it because I realize it’s a whole different way of connecting with a whole different set of voices around the world.”

She added that it has helped her and colleagues “distill messages to their very essence.”

She also had high praise for other forms of social media, including Facebook and YouTube.

“When it comes to foreign policy, this is not the most necessarily modern and agile aspect, traditionally, of American government. But under President Obama’s leadership and Secretary [of State Hillary] Clinton’s, the State Department has harnessed social media to be a much more effective tool of our outreach,” Rice said.

Well, it’s a start.  She can admit she was so very wrong about Twitter but can’t admit she was wrong about everything she staked her personal and professional credibility on to five Sunday morning talk shows last week.

Standing with our allies, standing against our enemies – we’ve never been clearer!  Every other day the White House spokestool has to assert that we’ve never been closer to Israel than you would believe were you foolish enough to trust your lying eyes.  Every other week, we’re convinced that murderous dictators who threaten the lives of us and our allies are just friends we haven’t made yet.  It’s as clear as mud.

Obama’s and Clinton’s “leadership” in the field of Twitter has undoubtedly been the greatest foreign policy success since the last one.  Whatever it was.  After all, you don’t even need 140 characters to say “We’re sorry” and “I surrender”.

Delusional Obama 60 Minutes Interview

September 23rd, 2012 at 11:20 pm by Brian

All of the responsibility lies with him.  He’s going to tune out that Netanyahu “noise“.  A raped and murdered Libyan Ambassador as a result of a targeted assassination is just “a bump in the road“.  But would he do the same things all over again?

Bump In The Road:  Let me guess, he fell in a manhole.

Sure.  Why not!

Oh, yea.  And Israel is one of our most important allies in the Middle East.  Who, pray tell, is the most important?

The cocoon is thick with this One.

And to Steve Croft, the conductor of this rare “interview”, singularly uninformed and unable to use the mantle of 60 Minutes to match the tenacity of a Univision reporter - either find another line of work or kill yourself.  You are a failure.  The official job of Obama ballwasher was filled by Scott Pelley some time ago.

I don’t care which.

Choo-Choo! All Aboard the Victim Express

September 23rd, 2012 at 11:46 am by Brian

Moochelle held court this weekend, high atop her perch of race-based privilege to explain to the Congressional Black Caucus why she hates America.  It’s really quite enlightening.  In 2012, the First Lady of the United States who got a Princeton education, a sweetcake $300k a year “diversity” manager job at a hospital and all around hypocritical food nazi plays to her audience of grievance mongers with anecdotes about how wronged they continue to be:

We knew that to end slavery, we needed a proclamation from our President, an amendment to our Constitution. To end segregation, we needed the Supreme Court to overturn the lie of “separate but equal.” To reach the ballot box, we needed Congress to pass the Voting Rights Act.

So we moved forward, and we won those battles.

I learned so much in history class.  Like I remember in 1863 when the Congressional Black Caucus convinced Lincoln to issue the Emancipation Proclamation.  Why else would you think that it rhymed?  Even though it occurred almost 100 years before they were formed.

Or when the Congressional Black Caucus helped the Supreme Court to overturn Plessy v. Ferguson in 1954.  Almost 17 years before they were formed.

The CBC is an organization that transcends race.  Also time and reality.

But today, while there are no more “whites only” signs keeping us out, no one barring our children from the schoolhouse door, we know that our journey is far, far from finished. But –(applause) — yes. But in many ways, the path forward for this next generation is far less clear. I mean, what exactly do we do about children who are languishing in crumbling schools? What about kids growing up in neighborhoods where they don’t have opportunities worthy of their dreams? What about the 40 percent of black children who are overweight or obese, or the nearly one in two who are on track to develop diabetes in their lifetimes?

What court case do we bring on their behalf? What laws can be passed to end those wrongs?

We’ve come so far.  It used to be that Democrats  were standing on the outside of the school barring little black children from entering.  Now the Democrats are on the outside chaining the door shut and keeping poor black children from escaping. #Progress

Yes, what court case do we bring to solve the racist problem of diabetes in the black community?  How do we legally tie slavery to the fat great-great-great grandchildren of those riding the Underground Railroad?  There are no more “whites only” sign at the all-u-can-eat-buffet but the discriminating contents of the food bar are making them all eat deep, southern fried (Jim) Crow.

The vanilla pudding is in a separate and unequal container so that it doesn’t even touch the chocolate pudding.

It’s easy to see where Michelle Obama got those stocky horse legs from.  You can really develop your calf muscles by carrying around a chip on your shoulder all of your life.

It’s worthwhile to also point out that this event was giving Eric Holder an award for being such an outstanding Attorney General.  On the basis of his merits to be sure.  Whatever those may be.

And finally, I want you to think about a photo that hangs in the West Wing of the White House. Some of you may have seen it. It’s a picture of a young black family visiting the President in the Oval Office. The father was a member of the White House staff, and he’d brought his wife and two young sons to meet my husband. In the photo, Barack is bent over at the waist. And one of the sons — a little boy, just about five years old — is reaching out his tiny little hand to touch my husband’s head.

And it turns out that upon meeting Barack, this little boy gazed up at him longingly and he said, “I want to know if my hair is just like yours.” And Barack replied, “Why don’t you touch it and see for yourself?” (Applause.) So he bent way down so the little boy could feel his hair. And after touching my husband’s head, the little boy exclaimed, “Yes, it does feel the same!” (Laughter and applause.)

Awww.

It’s a little bit nappy and a little bit sappy.  What lawsuit can we bring to help fight the tactile racism of our fat children’s inability to observe the physical properties of hair without having their chubby fingers feeling their way to freedom?

The funny thing is that if that same boy were to feel the hair of the local councilmen, state legislators and teachers at his school then he would feel the same hair in those cases too.  The people who failed you look exactly like you.  Maybe one day we can progress to the point that the boy in the picture can walk into the Congressional Black Caucus, comfortable enough in his own skin, that he will  be free enough to quit kneecapping his own race by supporting wholly unqualified people based on the color of their skin or the kink in their hair.

Oh, wait.  That already happened.

Pakistan Is Now An Official State Sponsor of Terrorism

September 23rd, 2012 at 4:08 am by Brian

Because that’s the definition when a government official puts out an open call to a terrorist organization to kill someone:

A Pakistani government minister on Saturday announced a $100,000 bounty for the killing of the person who produced an online film that denigrates the Prophet Muhammad.

Federal Minister for Railways Ghulam Ahmed Bilour also asked the Taliban and al-Qaida to extend support to the would-be killer.

Speaking at a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club, the federal minister said whoever is responsible for blasphemy deserves death.

“The American who produced the sacrilegious film in the U.S. is also liable to death and we will shower dollars on the one who killed the blasphemer. If members of the banned militant organizations kill the maker of the blasphemous movie, they will also be rewarded,” Bilour announced.

Umm, Pakistan has nuclear weapons.  This would make them more dangerous than Iran, right?  They harbored Osama bin Laden for years.

Quick!  Somebody get this man an apology.

I Took This Job, I Know It’s Crazy And I’m On An Al Qaeda Hit List so…Protect Me Maybe?

September 23rd, 2012 at 3:31 am by Brian

Just wow.  President Pajammy-jams sent Craig Stevens into the lion’s den and left him for dead, knew his life was in danger and rolled right over and went to sleep:

According to an un-bylined story posted Saturday on CNN’s website “four days after he was killed, CNN found a journal belonging to late U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens. The journal was found on the floor of the largely unsecured consulate compound where he was fatally wounded.”

On Wednesday, CNN talk show host Anderson Cooper told Sen. John McCain on “Anderson Cooper 360,” that “a source familiar with Ambassador Stevens’s thinking told us that in the months before his death he talked about being worried about the never-ending security threats that he was facing in Benghazi and specifically about the rise in Islamic extremism and growing al Qaeda presence.” The source, Cooper said, “also mentioned (Stevens) being on an al Qaeda hit list.”

Please don’t ask me to call Craig Stevens a liar.  He’s dead and can’t defend himself.  I can’t put his integrity up against President Sleepypants and question whether Craig Stevens lied in his Hello Kitty journal about being threatened by al Qaeda over something not related to a Youtube video that no one had seen lo so many months ago.

Because if it was related to something other than a Youtube video, there would be no reason Obama to go groveling at the UN this week to apologize for our First Amendment rights and to beg for forgiveness from savages who allow no such thing to begin.

The Leader of the Free World on scraped knee.  Begging for understanding from the authoritarian theocrats in an attempt to throw a citizen to the alligator of Islam in hopes that he eats him last.

Oh, he won’t say “apologize” or “I’m sorry”.  He’ll just say everything but those words to let you know how sorry he is that they are offended and then Greg Sargent and the rest of the Mainstream Media Matters / Journ-O-List 2.0 crowd will play semantics for a few days until the next shiny distraction.  We’ll actually be loved again in the world because of an Obama speech.  Tears will be wept.  Tingles will be felt.  Poll numbers will go through so many roofs that the jobs created from fixing the roofs will lower the country’s overall unemployment rate.

The spin is in the can before the speech is given.  Stevens will still be dead but if we can apologize for America to his murderers in front of the world stage one more time then it wouldn’t have been in vain.  If Obama had given some of Valerie Jarrett’s security detail to him then he wouldn’t get this chance to crawl on his hands and knees before such an august body in defense of his killers.

I’m sure if we could just talk to Craig again, just one more time, that he would get his talking points memo and let the attackers who raped him know how deeply sorry he was that they are upset about a video that they never saw and that the President of the United States forgives them because if that was their point then it would be a valid one.

And they’ll look at him and laugh and be emboldened to do their worst because our country is being run by a sniveling coward with loyalties to people who are not us.

The AARP Is Just Media Matters With A Colostomy Bag

September 23rd, 2012 at 2:39 am by Brian

Forward Comrades!

But don’t let the bag fool you.  They’re still full of shit:

The 71 pages of emails show an AARP management taking orders from the White House, scripting the president’s talking points, working to keep its board “in line,” and pledging fealty to “the cause.” Seniors deserve to know all this, as AARP seeks to present itself as neutral in this presidential election.

The emails overall show an AARP leadership—Policy Chief John Rother, Health Policy Director Nora Super, Executive Vice President Nancy LeaMond, Senior Vice President David Sloane—that from the start worked to pass ObamaCare, before crucial details pertaining to seniors had been addressed. This crew was in constant contact with Mr. Obama’s top aides, in particular Nancy-Ann DeParle and Jim Messina.

As early as July 2009, Mr. Sloane was sending the administration—”as promised”—his “message points” on Medicare. Ms. DeParle assured him “I think you will hear some of your lines tomorrow” in President Obama’s speech—which he did. Mr. Rother advised the White House on its outreach, discouraging Mr. Obama from addressing seniors since “he may not be the most effective messinger [sic] . . . at least to the McCain constituency.” Better to manage these folks, he counsels, through the “authoritative voices of doctors and nurses.”

Knowing this, why did Paul Ryan mistakenly pitch his plan to repeal Obamacare to this cadre of soon-to-be crypt bound commies?  And why again is the AARP tax exempt?

They are the wrinkledy, old strongarm of the Democrat machine that threatens wheelchair bound blue hairs that their strategic reserve of tapioca pudding will be cut off if their candidate doesn’t get elected.  That’s a nice Jazzy you’ve got there.  It’d be a shame of something happened to it.

The AARP is a bedsore on the ass of our comatose economy.

They need to be lectured not sought after.  Once the coordinated boos start, its time to drop the facade of the “I have a realistic chance to court your vote” and swiftly transition to a “it’s about time you turned up your hearing aids and started listen to some hard truth you selfish, old bastards”.   The American Association of Retired Persons has seen to it that no other generation will ever be able to afford to retire.

If Romney wins, I’d like to nominate myself to be Chairman of the death panel.   Like Obama said, forget that pacemaker.  I’ve got a budget saving pain pill with your name on it and an AARP junkmailing list that should keep the lines at Hell’s gates about as long as the lines of traffic behind your Buicks.

Hero Dork Thirty

September 16th, 2012 at 2:47 pm by Brian

Kathryn Bigelow must be arrested.  She must.

If the mad Moslems of (insert backwards ass country here) are murdering people over a shitty 14 minute Youtube video, how are they going to respond to a triumphant “in-your-face” We Killed Osama bin Laden Hollyweird blockbuster commissioned  and given special access by the President?

I’m just trying to follow liberal logic here.  Because if I actually believed what you say is the reason why people are rioting and embassy personnel murdered, raped and dragged through the streets then a lot more people are going to die over this.  They were chanting “We are all Osama” after all.

The director who made the Hurt Locker and depicted US troops as reckless, adrenaline junkies who were more than happy to abandon their families and risk the lives of their comrades because our supermarkets have too many choices of breakfast cereal has probably taken every precaution to remove any insinuation that the type of Islam practiced by Osama bin Laden bears any similarity to that of those who overran our embassy this week.

Completely different Islam.  Different mosque.  Different training camp.  Different semtex vests.  No relation.  Really.  In fact, I’m pretty sure it was perpetrated by the Libyan and Egyptian branches of the Tea Party.

But we all know those embassies weren’t attacked because of some stupid video.  I’ll take al Qaeda at their word that it was a revenge measure in retaliation for a drone strike that killed one of their leaders.  That makes more sense than Imam Obama and Moammar Holder ululating over the bloodied sacrificial scapegoat of Nakoula Basseley Nakoula and their sycophantic press corps that has refused to report that little tidbit for three days now.

Exit Question:  It was initially reported by the Agence France Press that Amb. Craig Stevens had been raped either before, during or after his murder.   Won’t some Obama official pressure the Libyan President to make a statement in support of his gay rights as a teachable moment to our struggling ally and those rights of all gay Libyans burning our flags and climbing our embassy walls?

Come on, guys.  You said you wanted to lead from behind.

May they all one day be able to suck openly on the sweet cock of Freedom.

#CNNFail – Like Watching The Roadrunner On Meth Vs. Wile E. Coyote On Downers

September 16th, 2012 at 1:23 pm by Brian

Prime Minister Netanyahu needs to be wearing his white lab coat and pocket protector as he makes his rounds to drop mad science on the D minus students who are  America’s dumbest talking heads:

CNN’s Candy Crowley: What we know is, of course, Iran is allowed under agreements, international agreements, to go ahead and do what it’s doing because there are legitimate peaceful purposes for enriching this uranium

Benjamin Netanyahu: You think so? You think so, Candy? That’s like — let me. It’s not legitimate. This is a country that talks about, denies the Holocaust, promises to wipe out Israel, is engaged in terror throughout the world. It’s like Timothy McVeigh walking into a shop in Oklahoma City and saying, ‘I would like to tend my garden. I’d like to buy some fertilizer.’ ‘How much do you you want?’ ‘I don’t know, 20,000 pounds.’

*Meep* *Meep*.  It’s like watching the Roadrunner on methamphetamine vs Wile E. Coyote on painkillers.  Luckily for Wile E. Crowley, the piano of logic that was dropped from the top floor of CNN’s headquarters to her waiting noggin below won’t be able to penetrate either her or her viewers’ blast door thick craniums.  Like all good cartoons, she’ll just crawl through the mangled ebonies, ivories, wires and splinters to dust herself off none the wiser.

Just for the record, that’s CNN giving the benefit of the doubt to Iran’s intentions on enriching uranium.  The same CNN announcer who will be stacking the deck moderating for a Presidential debate in the next month.

Sunday Morning Confessional: Dealing with Early Onset Alzheimer’s

September 16th, 2012 at 9:15 am by Brian

The New “Voluntary”:  Bears a striking resemblance to the old “Involuntary”

(Photo from the Los Angeles Times)

I’d like to apologize for not posting so much as of late.  There’s just been so much going on and I’ve had some health concerns.  Though I haven’t gone to the doctor yet, I’m fairly certain I am in the early stages of Alzheimer’s.  I base this on the fact that when I saw this story, I couldn’t remember what country I was living in:

Just after midnight Saturday morning, authorities descended on the Cerritos home of the man believed to be the filmmaker behind the anti-Muslim movie that has sparked protests and rioting in the Muslim world.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies escorted a man believed to be Nakoula Basseley Nakoula to an awaiting car. The man declined to answer questions on his way out and wore a hat and a scarf over his face. He kept his hands in the pockets of a winter coat.

Sheriff’s officials could not be reached by The Times, but department spokesman Steve Whitmore told KNBC News that deputies assisting the federal probation department took Nakoula to the sheriff’s substation in Cerritos for interviewing.

Seth MacFarlane and Bill Maher were unavailable for selective thoughtcrime prosecution voluntary police questioning.

You know, they told me when Mitt Romney was elected President that controversial filmmakers who blasphemed the god of violent, religious extremists would be met with midnight show raids by brownshirted government agents.  And they were right.

I guess the Alzheimer’s made me forget they warned me about that too.  Either that or I am living in Slaughterhouse Five.

Chinese Kristallnacht Or Fortune Cookies And Circuses

September 16th, 2012 at 9:13 am by Brian

Technically, Fortune Cookies and Cirque du Soleils.

The Obama Doctrine defined: (1)  The act of abandoning strategic cultural, political and military allies in favor of insufficiently placating cultural, political and military enemies in an effort to appease both parties and accomplishing neither; (2) After failing to protect US interests or values, engaging in the act of redefining what was originally being discussed in order to declare that the goal was not only met but surpassed and that any questioning of that accomplishment has already been answered and that we’re not talking about it anymore.  Next question.

So, if we’re to anticipate how Barack Hussein Obama’s State Department will apply his Smart Diplomacy ™  formula to the explosive row between Japan (a business and military ally) and China (our largest Creditor / threat to our existence) over the oil resources of a barren couple of rocks we can expect this matter to be resolved in an amicable fashion, correct?  Like the Falkland Islands dispute.  Preferably one where we we endeavor to stay neutral by asking both sides to remain calm on appeal to some corrupt “higher” international authority.

Do note:  it’s not invoking Godwin’s Law when it’s true:

Sporadic protests in China over the past week became larger and at times violent and spread to at least two dozen cities over the weekend. Protesters torched a Panasonic factory and Toyota dealership in the eastern port of Qingdao, looted a Heiwado Co. department store in the southern city of Changsha and ransacked Japanese supermarkets in several cities. Though larger numbers of police imposed more order on demonstrations Sunday, they fired tear gas to subdue rowdy protesters in the southern city of Shenzhen. In nearby Guangzhou city, protesters broke into a hotel that was next to the Japanese Consulate and damaged a Japanese restaurant inside.

Heh.  “Rowdy” protesters.  Those Nazis sure were rowdy the night they smashed the windows of those Jewish stores.  A good time just got a little out of hand, I’d say.

I question whether tear gas was actually fired at these government organized “protesters”.  Maybe if by “tear gas” they mean “protesters” were peppered with money and professionally made signage.  Tear gas laced with nationalism and PCP.  My question is what do American companies who have substantial capital investments in Chinese factories think is going to happen to them when their home countries get into disputes over natural resources or similarly heated political disputes.

China does not brook dissent from its people.  They will encourage police escorted mob actions to target scapegoats as a distraction from their failed economic policies.

Unfortunately for us, too many traitorous American business executives have dollar bill and yuan signs in their eyes and refuse to acknowledge this reality.

Doomed to repeat it:

Kristallnacht, also referred to as the Night of Broken Glass, or Reichskristallnacht, About this sound Pogromnacht (help·info), and About this sound Novemberpogrome (help·info), was a pogrom or series of coordinated attacks against Jews throughout Nazi Germany and parts of Austria on 9–10 November 1938, carried out by SA paramilitary and civilians. German authorities looked on without intervening.[1] The attacks left the streets covered with broken glass from the windows of Jewish-owned stores, buildings, and synagogues.[2]

Just a coincidence I’m sure:

TOKYO, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) – Newly-appointed Japanese Ambassador to China Shinichi Nishimiya died Sunday morning in a hospital in Tokyo, Kyodo reported.

Nishimiya, 60, fell unconscious on a street in Tokyo three days ago on Thursday morning. Police said the sudden faint was caused by illness.

The cause of his death has yet to be known, according to Kyodo news.

Sudden illness to the back of the head.  Surreptitiously ingested sudden illness.

A coughing canary is already deep in the World War III coal mine.

No Time For You, Israel, I’ve Got LetterMan

September 11th, 2012 at 10:55 pm by Preston Taylor Holmes

On 9/11/12, it’s entirely appropriate that our AntiSemite-In-Chief would take a dump on Israel. It’s in his Frank-Marshall-Davis-laden DNA.

The White House declined Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s request on Tuesday to meet U.S. President Barack Obama during a UN conference in New York at the end of the month.

The White House National Security Council Spokesman Tommy Vietor told Haaretz the two would not meet due to a scheduling conflict. “The President arrives in New York for the UN on Monday, September 24th and departs on Tuesday, September 25th. The Prime Minister doesn’t arrive in New York until later in the week. They’re simply not in the city at the same time.”

Vietor did, however, say that Netanyahu and Obama are “in frequent contact” and that the PM would meet with other senior officials, including U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Turns out he’s too busy playing grab-ass with a way-past-his-prime talkshow host instead.

At least it wasn’t something REALLY important, like, say… more golf?

Meanwhile the Arab Spring has sprung, with one American dead today as a result. These are COOTUS’ buddies, so what is America’s response? We’re so sorry to have offended you.

We are well and truly doomed. I guess we don’t need another 9/11 to be reminded of that. All we have to do is look at the jug-eared commie in the White House.

The Nauseating Conclusion To North Carolina’s Cavalcade of Commies

September 6th, 2012 at 9:49 pm by Brian

I am a glutton for punishment.  Having caught an eyeful of Lurch McHorseface’s rhetorical road apples, I am not sure that my living room has adequate ventilation for the weapon’s grade horseshit that permeates the air.

The lecherous traitor who made his name lying to Congress about his fellow soldiers killing innocent people in Vietnam for fun in the manner of “Jenghis Khan” having the stones to brag about the foreign policy accomplishments of  President Frank Marshall Davis Jr. was almost too much to bear.

Success, as he defines it, is the US unilaterally making nuclear weapons reductions in a new START Treaty while Russia reduces their arsenals by ZERO much to the delight of Czar Putin.  He claims that the rightwing Prime Minster of Israel supports Barack Obama’s policy towards his country and considers him a passionate ally somehow:

Again and again, the other side has lied about where this president stands and what this president has done. But Prime Minister Netanyahu set the record straight – he said, our two countries have ‘‘exactly the same policy.” – ”our security cooperation is unprecedented…’’ When it comes to Israel, I’ll take the word of Israel’s prime minister over Mitt Romney any day.

I really do hope someone decides to interview Netanyahu about this assertion because this report casts an incredible wet blank on Sweetback McSadwidow’s inventive interpretation of the day’s events:

Rogers, speaking to WJR radio host Frank Beckmann, painted a very different picture. He said the meeting, originally scheduled to be a discussion of intelligence and technical issues between himself and the prime minister, spun out of control when Netanyahu began lambasting Shapiro over the Administration’s Iran policy. When Beckmann asked Rogers to describe the tenor of the meeting, he said: “Very tense. Some very sharp… exchanges and it was very, very clear the Israelis had lost their patience with the (Obama) Administration.” He went on, “There was no doubt. You could not walk out of that meeting and think that they had not lost their patience with this Administration.”

Kerry is, after all, bucking for a Secretary of State gig in the event of a calamitous 2nd term.  Kerry being the wise judge of character who, in an attempt to embarrass George Bush, threw a hijab over Nancy Pelosi and drug her along in tow to Syria in 2007 to stand in solidarity with Bashir Assad and lobby for the U.S. to re-open our embassy and give credibility to this wonderful leader who had just recently ordered the assassination of Lebanon’s prime minister.

Of course, now Assad is a tyrant who murders his own people which is hyped on the nightly news by the same media that covered up Saddam Hussein’s crimes.  He wasn’t then though, right?  Kerry wasn’t taking his traveling road show of commies and kleptocrats a half dozen times to undermine US security abroad and prop up tyrants for political points.  Because that would mean he was a traitor or something.  No.  A celebrated war hero like Kerry?  He couldn’t be a traitor.

The only alternative being that he’s just an incompetent buffoon who shouldn’t be anywhere near a negotiation table on our behalf.

Exit Question:  Has anyone noticed how much Fox News has been licking the DNC’s ass this week?  Brit Hume looked like he was ready to blow a hobo to get a Clinton interview after his speech last night.

Football Friday

September 2nd, 2012 at 5:00 pm by Preston Taylor Holmes

FLASHBACK/UPDATE:

I am re-posting this Football Friday Flashback from September of 2008. Our brother Nigel and I had a bet over the UCLA/UT game (one in which UCLA humiliated us on national television), after which, Nigel sent me a UCLA shirt to post on the blog. We found out this weekend that Nigel passed away after a battle with cancer and though we are heartbroken for his wife and boy, we know the example that he has set as a man of God means that he has been called home. Our prayers go out Nigel’s family.

Where all the people have went?

It was a mysterious week last week at Neyland Stadium. The family and I had a good time, but home-opener attendance had to be in the low 80K’s. Even in the dark days of 2005 I don’t remember seeing this many empty seats. I had a feeling something was up when we kept walking by scalpers offering “buy one, get one free”. Not a good sign for the UT A.D.

Unfortunately, after this week’s slaughter, scalpers will be paying you to take the tickets off their hands. Gaytors 44 Vols 21. Some folks are still convinced that Fulmer has one more rabbit to pull out of his hat, but I believe that the rabbit he’s going to pull out is going to have been dead for weeks and will be covered in maggots.

Last week I did pretty well, going 4/5, but was dead wrong on ND/Michigan. Didn’t see that coming.

Elsewhere…

  • LSU 22 Auburn 14Auburn looked a lot worse than I expected against Mississippi State. Expect an LSU victory. This will give Auburn something to be pissed off about next week when the Vols crest the hills of Opelika.
  • Sun Devils 27 Georgia 24Stafford is not the horse that Kelley Washington was. Overrated Bulldaggas go down in the desert. Or possibly not.
  • Alabama 28 Arkansas 17It’s the battle of the SEC teams with exactly the same uniforms. I can never tell who has the ball in this one so I’m not watching.
  • Ole Miss 19 Vandy 14Ole Miss still has the hottest – and dumbest – chicks in the SEC. Oh, and they’ll win this one.

When Jeff Fisher announced last week that we’ll be staying with Kerry Collins into the forseeable future, I thought it was the right move. Once VY spends a few weeks in therapy and learns that he’s not the center of the universe, we can move him back up to second string. The Titans’ defense is looking better than I expected – particularly up front – and even with Collins, I’m starting to smell playoffs.

Luckily, we have a week off this week – Titans 27 Texans 14.

I sucked out loud in last weeks pro picks – 2/5. Hopefully this week will be better.

  • Dallas 34 Packers 31That Cowboys/Eagles game Monday night was excellent. This one should be just as good.
  • Denver 24 ‘Aints 17I’m starting to think that Jay Cutler may indeed be the second coming of Elway. Or at least Craig Morton.
  • Nigel’s Chargers 29 Jets 14If the refs don’t interfere in this one and try to fix the game for Brett “Golden Boy” Favre, the Chargers should roll.
  • Eagles 31 Steelers 21The Steelers were underwhelming against the Browns last week and the Iggles actually looked pretty good. Steelers go down in the battle of Pennsyltucky.

UCLA BET UPDATE:

In fine Six Meat bet-losing tradition, I am making good on my promise to our brother Nigel. UCLA beat us down fair and square three weeks ago (and then lost to BYU 59-0, doesn’t that make us look even better) so it is my duty to don the UCLA colors. Thanks to Nigel for sending me the shirt.
