A stunning dereliction of duty. Looks like Texas Governor doesn’t have to go to Mexico to get into a bull fight. Or at least a fight with a bull:

“This is a civilian border,” Napolitano said during a lunch Friday with reporters in Washington, responding to a question about sending more U.S. National Guard troops to beef up border security.

“The National Guard is not designed to be a substitute for civilian law enforcement,” Napolitano said.

It takes balls the size of church bells to clang out that line when she’s suing Arizona for civilian law enforcement taking a lead role, doesn’t it? Don’t expect anyone in a room full of reporters to ask her that question. Because they didn’t.

Napolitano, who was Arizona’s governor before joining the administration, had rather blunt retort to Perry; if he wants more Guard along the border, he can send them there from Texas himself.

“He always has the ability, in a way, to bring up National Guard, if he’s willing to pay for them. That’s always an option available to a governor,” Napolitano said, acknowledging that tight state budgets might make that difficult.

Gee, I hate it for you buddy. My boss’s economy is so bad that we’re abdicating our responsibility to maintain our national boundary lines and we finally found one instance to uphold the 10th Amendment. One where it doesn’t apply.

Oops. Damn that pesky Article 4 Section 4 of the US Constitution:

Article 4 – The States
Section 4 – Republican Government

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

I can’t find the section that offers free healthcare and college tuition to illegal aliens but that one seems clear cut. Who knew Incompetano was such a hardcore States Rights advocate? She’s practically a confederate. If by Boss Hogg, you mean Bush Hogg.

Napolitano did underscore the administration’s backing for a bill, known as the DREAM Act, which would allow some aliens to stay in the U.S. if they came illegally as minors and are attending high school or college. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has said he plans to attach the measure to a defense authorization bill scheduled for consideration on the Senate floor next week.

“We do believe the DREAM Act would be a good thing. This is intended for people who have no culpability really for how they were brought across the border,” she said. “Many of them have no relationship at all to their country of origin, if they even speak the language there.”

Whatever happened to “ignorance of the law is no excuse”?

Just so we’re clear : Protecting our border = State’s Job. Providing a free college education to illegal aliens = Federal Job.

An individual’s relationship to their home country means so much to A Ruling Class so divorced from reality.

Note to everyone who wins in November: Impeach this bitch right after repealing Obamacare. Then fire everybody with “Czar” in their job description. Article I Section 9 addresses that one:

No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince or foreign State.

That’s what a Czar is after all. Unconstitutionally speaking.

There. I’ve got your whole first day mapped out for you. You’re welcome.

Horseshoe Bay, TX – Horseshoe Bay Police say a 14-year-old girl was raped by two illegal immigrants at a 4th of July party in south Horseshoe Bay.

The victim told police that she had gone with her cousin to a July 4th party on 39th Street in Horseshoe Bay. The victim’s 23-year-old cousin left her alone in a room with Anibal Escobar, 19, and Anael Martinez, 22. The two Honduran natives made sexual advances toward the teen and had sexual intercourse with her against her will. The victim’s cousin found her in naked in the bath tub. They both left the party and returned home.

America truly is the land of plenty isn’t it boys? With any luck, they’ll be on the other end of the stick once they start serving their time, that is, unless they are pardoned for being poor, oppressed undocumented workers.

Apparently Fox Austin saw the need to take the full story down for some reason, but it’s cached here.

My historic post on the historic Comprehensive Illegal Alien Giveaway Speech:

So the bottom line is this: The southern border is more secure today than at any time in the past 20 years. That doesn’t mean we don’t have more work to do. We have to do that work, but it’s important that we acknowledge the facts.

Don’t tell these guys. They’re really committed to the lie:

6/30/10

Here is the letter by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott:

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW

Washington, DC 20500

Dear Mr. President,

Deadly violence from drug cartels and transnational gangs in Mexico is knocking on the United States’ door with ever increasing frequency.

Yesterday, gunfire from the cartels pierced that threshold and struck City Hall in El Paso. Fortunately no one was injured or killed. But that good fortune was not the result of effective border control – it was mere luck that the bullets struck buildings rather than bodies.

Luck and good fortune are not effective border enforcement policies. The shocking reality of cross border gunfire proves the cold reality: American lives are at risk. As the attached news article notes: “More than 1,300 people have been murdered in Juárez this year as a war continues relentlessly between the Juárez and Sinaloa drug cartels.” Americans must be protected as this deadly war bulges at our border.

Not protecting our states from foreign invaders, encouraging it in fact, is gross neglect of duty and grounds for Impeachment. In a time of record unemployment, while Congress is constantly bickering over extending unemployment benefits constituting a “jobs bill”, the US Secretary of Labor is doing promos for a hotline advertising for illegal aliens to call in and “get their due” for the jobs they’ve stolen from the tens of millions of unemployed and underemployed. Doesn’t she know that she’s breaking the law?

In closing, The Amnestasizer shot his wad of revisionist history in the Statue of Liberty’s hair.

“Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand,” she wrote,

A mighty woman with a torch…
From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome…
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!”…
“Give me your tired, and your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to be free…
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Let us remember these words. For it falls on each generation to ensure that that lamp -– that beacon -– continues to shine as a source of hope around the world, and a source of our prosperity here at home.

Ummm, no. That torch is meant to represent Liberty and Freedom to the world as an example. A beacon to people escaping oppression not unlike the one being prescribed by Mad King Barack, M.D. It was not to attract all of the gnats and insects like some ancient bug zapper with the lure of the DREAM Act, ObamaCare, SEIU card-check and a voter ID you commie scumbag.

These women, and men and women across this country like them, remind us that immigrants have always helped to build and defend this country -– and that being an American is not a matter of blood or birth.

Utter insanity. With this speech, every thief, rapist, drug dealer and murderer in Mexico and Central America knows that if they can get over the border before November that they have a chance at becoming a US citizen without so much as a background check.

I’m not a religious person but God fucking help us all.

If you’ve ever wondered what it might be like to live under a President Chavez, you’re getting a good first hand look.

As most of us already knew, the Obama administration has nothing but disdain for the average American bitter clinger. As if the freedom-robbing healthcare bill wasn’t enough, the thug-in-chief is now suing Arizona and halting the collection of oil in the gulf.

I’m surprised that Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer was “surprised” to learn that the Feds were coming after Arizona for attempting to enforce Federal law already on the books. From her own press release…

“This is no way to treat the people of Arizona,” said Governor Brewer. “To learn of this lawsuit through an Ecuadorean interview with the Secretary of State is just outrageous. If our own government intends to sue our state to prevent illegal immigration enforcement, the least it can do is inform us before it informs the citizens of another nation.”

Governor Brewer said, “I just visited with the President in the Oval Office about our differences over immigration policy, and the one firm understanding we had was that within two weeks he would provide details of his commitment to deploy National Guard troops to the border. While I am grateful that
communications have taken place about a possible visit by Administration staff before the end of the month, there is not yet a confirmed date. More importantly, no information about additional troop and border security enhancements has been provided by the Obama Administration to the citizens of Arizona.”

Her first mistake was meeting with the liar-in-chief. Her second mistake was believing a word he said. At least she’s fighting back, to some degree.

LA Governor Bobby Jindal is fighting back as well, but it may be too late.

“These barges work. You’ve seen them work. You’ve seen them suck oil out of the water,” said Jindal.

…

So why stop now?

“The Coast Guard came and shut them down,” Jindal said. “You got men on the barges in the oil, and they have been told by the Coast Guard, ‘Cease and desist. Stop sucking up that oil.’”

A Coast Guard representative told ABC News today that it shares the same goal as the governor.

“We are all in this together. The enemy is the oil,” said Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Dan Lauer.

But the Coast Guard ordered the stoppage because of reasons that Jindal found frustrating. The Coast Guard needed to confirm that there were fire extinguishers and life vests on board, and then it had trouble contacting the people who built the barges.

The governor said he didn’t have the authority to overrule the Coast Guard’s decision, though he said he tried to reach the White House to raise his concerns.

“They promised us they were going to get it done as quickly as possible,” he said. But “every time you talk to someone different at the Coast Guard, you get a different answer.”

When you here President Zero and the rest of the Federal bureaucrats say that they’re doing everything they can, just know that they’re doing everything they can to destroy the country.

Heckuva job, Brownie.

That’s what the headline should say. But it doesn’t as you may imagine:

FBI: Mexicans chased away US agents after shooting

Kinda makes you swell with pride, doesn’t it? Mexican federales so close to our border protecting violent “migrants” rights to illegally invade our country.

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico – Pointing their rifles, Mexican security forces chased away U.S. authorities investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old Mexican by a U.S. Border Patrol agent on the banks of the Rio Grande, the FBI and witnesses told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Naturally, in the guilty-until-proven-innocent Messican media and courts (who am I kidding?) the guilty-until-proven-guilty-regardless-of-the-evidence Messican Corruptocracy, the US Border agent who shot an individual who was part of a melee surrounding him and pelting him with stones while he tried to subdue an invader has already been determined to be an out of control racist high from an all nighter of smoking Arizona’s new anti-illegals law.

Mexican news media were filled with images of the 15-year-old’s bloody body and his grieving relatives. One tabloid ran a large photograph on its cover, with the banner headline “Grindaderas,” salty slang that roughly translates as “things Americans do.”

Mexican President Felipe Calderon pledged to “use all resources available to protect the rights of Mexican migrants,” and his foreign secretary, Patricia Espinosa, said Mexico wasn’t taking the Americans’ word that the Border Patrol agent had been defending himself from rock-throwers when he opened fire.

Chihuahua state Gov. Jose Reyes Baeza blamed the two killings on racism fueled by Arizona’s law.

“We believe that this killing, the second in recent days in the border between the two countries, is due to xenophobia and racism, derived from the approval of Arizona’s anti-immigration law,” Reyes said.

Sounds like somebody’s getting to take a permanent siesta under that great big sombrero in the sky. Or not. After all, last I heard, Heaven still had a gate to keep illegals from jumping in too with Saint Peter checking the immigration status.

Of course, using current commie logic, Saint Peter should just let the pearly gates swing wide because the Messicans will just build a ladder one foot taller and start leeching off God’s eternal affordable housing.

It’s only a matter of time before Obama throws the border agent under the bus and stands in solidarity with the Mexican federal officers aiming their weapons at our guards defending our country from the diseased, human sex trafficking, drug cartel felons yearning to vote for him and pick up their welfare check.

In closing, there is video and when it does come out the Messicans will deny, deny, deny their lying eyes.

UPDATE: The Messican side of the story. It’s grainy, shaky and hard to get an idea of the full picture considering that we are dealing with a matter of feet in terms of where our border begins and their’s does. At the beginning they are all on our side. The one who was shot runs over to the Mexican side and starts throwing rocks while another, who is mainly hidden from the video and still on the U.S. side and judging by the comments of the spectators throwing rocks as well. Judge for yourself.

One border agent alone while several border jumpers are assaulting him as he is in the process of arresting one of them while a throng of onlookers enjoy the show. Until the shooting starts.

For the 4th of July, let’s all head to the border and start throwing rocks at their agents and see if Calderon cheers us on.

Looks like Obongo and his bathtub buddy Phillip Caliente are both beside themselves with angst over Arizona’s desire to control its borders. Unsurprisingly, the rest of the dim-o-cracks are equally heartsick.

I’m just curious, Phillip, what else are you going to do to us? What additional risk do we subject ourselves to by enforcing what is already a federal law?

You’ve emptied out your jails and handed the criminals guides on how to cross the border into the promised land. You’ve turned your own country into a massive, steaming pile of chili-pepper-flecked stool. Your own government’s corruption rivals only our own in scope and destructiveness. You send us your murderers, your diseased, your illiterate, your dregs.

What more can you do? You can’t even fend off your own drug gangs with your military. Go on back to your mud hut in Mexico City and we’ll run our country as we see fit. When we need advice on making some kick-ass salsa, we’ll let you know, otherwise, go pound sand.

Everybody knows that the Louis Farrakhan of Presidents is planning on disgracing the memory of 9/11 today as evidenced by his Serve.Gov site.

In April, President Obama signed the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act which, for the first time, officially recognizes September 11 as a National Day of Service and Remembrance. This year, on September 11, the President, the Corporation for National and Community Service, MyGoodDeed and the 9/11 families will ask all Americans to remember that Tuesday eight years ago and recommit to service in their communities throughout the year.

That’s right. 9/11 is about joining ACORN to help register prostitutes and the underage sex slaves while defrauding the taxpayer. That is exactly the message I come away with when I think of people jumping out of a burning building after being attacked by the Religion of Peace. Again.

Or is the Teddy Kennedy Act supposed to remind me to take a swimming class while drunk while helping my nephew beat a rape charge or expending family clout to help another one beat a murder wrap for a few decades?

Instead of trying to regain that feeling of that whole five minutes after the attack before the Left unsheathed their knives and stabbed everyone in the back and Code Pink started carrying coffins to mock wounded veterans at Walter Reed.

I remember the hijacking of the Flight 93 museum. I remember artistes trying to dramatize the firefighters raising the flag over the wreckage to make it more politically correct. I remember the commies like Van Jones who said we deserved it and that he and his fellow Truthers are now in the White House after a long summer of letting the terrorists go to an island paradise, launching investigations into our agents who kept us safe and most recently culminated in giving a nod to the release of the Lockerbie bomber back to Libya. Obama knew that a man who murdered almost two hundred Americans was getting released and he was okay with that.

I remember tv without the crawl at the bottom and what it was like to get on an airplane without getting felt up to keep the numbers politically correct. Or without having to take off belts, watches and remove cellphones so many times that I might as well just show up in a shorty robe.

Basically, I remembered not to forget the way it happened and that no President ever had the balls to ask Americans to volunteer to do community service for his pet projects as the way to remember the attack on Pearl Harbor.

For the ADD generation, you now have a President who can’t even bother to mention the troops that he’s surging into harm’s way while he’s slashing their budget.

I’d ask if you have forgotten if I wasn’t so sure that you’d reply “forgot about what?”

Did you know that you can now sue a teacher who expresses a fact contrary to your political ideology? It’s true.

Well, technically you can sue anybody for any reason at all. It doesn’t mean that you’ll win but you can certainly waste everybody’s money and time which is really the point of the legal terrorism that some people gleefully engage in.

Case in point, Robertson county’s own Rick Casares is throwing down the gauntlet because a teacher had the nerve to say that illegal immigration is a burden on our healthcare system. Behold, fajita-eating fascism at it’s finest:

It has come to my attention that you use your classroom to extol the virtues of Conservative thought. It should not be my responsibility to remind you that you are there to teach, not preach. It is your right to have an opinion, but it is my right to have my daughter receive an education free from political propaganda. You may not be aware that Alena’s grandparents were undocumented when they arrived in this country. Your inference that illegal immigrants are to blame for this country’s health care crisis upset her, and I am putting you on notice that if it happens again, I will contact our family’s attorney. I am sure the Robertson County School District has plenty of excess funds with which to fight off a lawsuit, especially one where precedent is clearly set.

Nevermind if what the teacher said was true. Since it is. It’s also a burden on the school systems while we’re at it. And the courts. Admittedly, since hospitals do not track this information it’s hard to determine an exact number but having hard data has never stopped hard headed liberals before. Just ask a discredited Lancet study that every liberal sings by heart.

Rick’s site “Coyote Chronicles” is presumably a celebration of the noble “coyote”. A coyote is a man who sees another man with a leafblower and a dream and helps him to scam government services and drunk drive over families after fleeing the mess he made of his own country under the cover of darkness for a nominally outrageous fee. Not a celebration of the same coyotes who haul in the drugs and human traffic hispanics into the underground sex slave trade. Just so we’re clear. Coyotes with a heart of gold.

Some people conservatively put that healthcare number at $10.7 billion a year. But we know how some people feel about the word “Conservative” so let’s make that a more liberal number like $100 Billion a year. The facts aren’t fully in but if you don’t consider potentially billions of unpaid hospital bills a burden on the system, maybe not the biggest but definitely big by any measure, then perhaps you’d like to just give me $500,000 since it ain’t no thing.

You see, by Mr. Casares’ estimation no teacher can interject their opinion into a classroom if that opinion upsets their child or a parent’s well-established set of beliefs (no matter how ill-founded) to which I wholeheartedly agree!

By that rationale, we can now sue every teacher and school system who:

- teaches evolution as a fact and not a theory.
- Teaches sex education to under 13 youngsters at all instead of leaving it to their parents
- Teaching elementary schoolers that Heather Having Two Mommies is a-okay
- insult children if their parents voted for John McCain (and make them cry – call my attorney!)
- recruiting students to work for political campaigns in exchange for credit

Just a few. If we were to throw out all the bums who teach their opinions as fact the schools and colleges would be closed tomorrow. I guess it only matters when you feel it’s your particular pet issue that’s being attacked once in a very infrequent while.

Try having the board that accredits the schools forcing teachers to take an ideological litmus test before they could teach and forcing students to take a loyalty test to their definition of “social justice” before they would be allowed to graduate and then get back with me.

This is really very simple, Sir. Were the shoe on the other foot, and I had your children in my classroom, and attempted to indoctrinate my charges into the Godless, heathen, liberal agenda, I believe you would be as concerned as I.

And a godless, heathen, liberal agenda isn’t what we have now?

By their own description, 72 percent of those teaching at American universities and colleges are liberal and 15 percent are conservative, says the study being published this week. The imbalance is almost as striking in partisan terms, with 50 percent of the faculty members surveyed identifying themselves as Democrats and 11 percent as Republicans.

We just need to sue everybody who presents their opinions as fact in the public school system and browbeats their students with it. Were it the case, your leftarded side would be getting beat with the shit end of the stick that they wield so often that it has prompted a nationwide homeschooling movement.

Do yourself a favor “Teach” and take out the warrant now. Casares and reasoned debate go together like Ivan Moreno and Mary Sadler. Reasoned debate may try to put up a good fight but at the end of the day it’s going to be strangled to death and raped in the name of diversity.
